Great watch for the price & a great foreign made Oyster Perpetual
I was going to get my dad a nice quartz Timex or Casio in the 50-90$ range but this watch caught my attention more since it was an automatic & was a homage to a Rolex Oyster perpetual. Not an exact clone but not bad. I heard that it has a ST-6 Seagull movement which is from the 1960s Breightling watches. It shouldnt be identical as its a foreign made watch but it should still be reliable. I liked the watch alot that I ended up getting myself one too but in the bluish/green sand dial. Went ahead & added a 20 mm leather strap with my watch as I did not want the rolex like bracelet for myself. I understand why others would like it but it was comfortable when I did wear the original one. The time felt accurate & was only 3 seconds fast per day. The date flip featured worked reliably. The lume is not the best at all, but at this price point what do you expect. When you are doing a quick glace its very easy to read & theres no noise level with the watch as some have state.

Great watch exhalent price
Got this watch 25 Aug 2025 today is 9 Sept 2025 The watch is great looking, it has the red dial witch I find pleasing as all my other watches but a couple have black dial's. I change out the band on all my watches to to wide ones, so I can not tell you about that. I really like this watch it is comfortable on wrist keeps time and looks good while doing it. The lume is weak but what can you say, but it does work for a bit. I would have given it 4 stars except for one thing. Now on to review. It has keeps time great, accurate well with in the specs of manufacturers literature. -7 sec/+10 sec in 24 hrs scene I got it. At a glance you can read the time with the bold hands over the red dial. I know it it water resistant to at least in a deep sink. The case is a nice solid metal with I high polish, not really a fan of the display backs but that is the new thing and I really don't see it so it is mostly a none issue. It has a few scratches on it but I am kinda rough with all my watches. The bad I have never had hardlex as a crystal, so this may just be that I got a bad one or they may all be this way. I clipped my crystal on a door frame this morning and know it has a big ole chunk in it. It is still keeping time and I don't think it has broken all the way through. I will continue to wear the watch and put it in to my rotation.

Surprisingly accurate automatic for the the price!
For a automatic wristwatch at this price point, It is surprisingly accuarate! It falls well within the listed specs of +/- 45 secs per day. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that the band is cheap 316L stainless steel which contains nickel. If you're not allergic to nickel and you want an inexpensive, accurate timepiece that looks expensive, this is a decent watch for the price. In my younger years I HATED wearing anything on my wrists. My first "real" job was as a paramedic, it was a requirement that I had to wear a wristwatch with a second hand. Not thinking it through, I bought a high end Timex. It was busted my first week on the job. If you work a job that is physical and requires that you wear a watch. This is a good option for the price.

Love my Benyar watches
I have 8 Benyar automatic watches in my collection and I love them all. Everyone of them is my favorite and I'm proud to wear them everyday. They are heavy and look and feel like quality, name brand designer timepieces. They are easy to wind and set the time, quiet, bands are simple to adjust, accurate and beautiful tribute designs to extremely expensive watches.

Automatic at a great price
I am very surprised with the quality for the price. An Automatic watch with a display case back I could pick up for under $50? It has to be junk right? I'm not a big watch snob, so I've yet to find any fault other than the luminous glow fades so quickly it is as if it didn't exist. It keeps good time. I also got a different brand automatic watch for ~$90 on amazon, and I prefer the Benyar.

CHANGED REVIEW....NOT on par with Seiko 5
*12/28/2022 update my original review was based on winding the watch to test the movement for three days WITHOUT wearing it since it was a gift. apparently, there were some major issues that came with wearing it according to my son. 1. fully wound, it would stop and start throughout the day... sometimes for hours before noticing 2. simply wearing it was not sufficient to keep it operating either...he found it ran slower as his day went on so he would have wind or shake it. 3. I have very old and very reliable seagull movement watches (which is supposedly what's in this watch) and from what he told me, this is nothing like those. he even described a "gritty sound" to the movement that I didn't hear or feel since I didn't wear it. maybe I just got unlucky, or maybe these mass produced seagull movements are junk? either way...ONE STAR FOR RUINING CHRISTMAS! this is the smaller "budget" version of the Pagani that looks identical. Benyar is a division of Pagani, so I have all the faith in the world they hold the same high standards even though they use "lesser" materials. the fit, finish, materials and accuracy are on par with my multiple Seiko 5 (low end models) the seagull movement has been around for 80 years, folks. unless they come out with a nuclear powered automatic for $70, you'll never beat this for an everyday automatic.

The watch has a good finish with quality materials (steel, display, etc.)
The watch is beautiful, heavy and comfortable. It came in a beautiful box that surprised me. It also came with an aid to remove segments from the bracelet. I holp. I hope it lasts for many years

May take a little work to get this watch where you want it, but great watch for the money
Classic "Milgauss" look, for the price it's nice and heavy many people said they had issues figuring out and or didn't like the way the band adjusted, the tool that was sent to assist with that, broke and snapped on the first turn. But with a paperclip and a small set of pliers It was easy to figure out. The noice as the automatic gears run with the self winding watch, is pretty loud and makes it a little weird sounding but it looks great and
