Don't really do enough of any one thing to really need the gauge, but I'm glad I bought it. Works a treat. Thanks 😊

(Edited: Seller responded and sent a replacement quickly fixing the problem, changed my one star to 5 star because this is a very useful piece of equipment, and I am well pleased with it.) Arrived with one of the bolts messed up. I cannot use it without this part. I would love to have the replacement bracket with threaded nut. If I had that, I know I would revise this review to be 5 stars.

Stainless parts are fairly sturdy, but a little rough along the edges.

The base is very light weight and so it moves very easily. You definitely need good clamps to go with it. Also, the pointers are metal which means that they can damage the pot. They could be changed for craft foam as they can be unscrewed.
