Switched from Bentgo
We switched to these lunch boxes from the Bentgo. We like them way better since we can wash the entire thing. We haven't had problems with leaking but don't put anything more liquid than yogurt or applesauce in it.

BEST Lunchbox/Bento box we've ever had
These are perfect! And great for big kids too. My girls are 6 and 9 and They go to a hybrid Classical Academy two days a week and have to bring their lunch. These are perfect! I also have a 7 year old son and a 1.5 year old son and I will be ordering them each one too for next school year. For anyone wondering what lunch boxes they fit inside, They fit perfectly in the Pottery Barn Cold pack style lunch boxes (rectangle ones) as well as the Fulton Bag Co. Upright Lunch Bag from Target (IF you remove the plastic insert that comes with the lunch box). I put two cold packs laying side by side in the bottom of each girls lunch box and sit the bento box on top. They don't leak, get a tight seal, are easy for my girls to open and close. We haven't had any mishaps with them so far spilling any food and they wash up beautifully in the dishwasher which makes my life SO much easier.I personally have four kids and do not use plastic in our kitchen or for storing our food. I also don't don't like to be wasteful environmentally or economically, so I don't use throw away sandwhich baggies or a lot of individual size pre packaged food.I started using bento boxes when my oldest child was in Kindergarten and have tried several over the last 5 years in an attempt to find the perfect ones.I have looked at the Bentgo boxes probably 100 times and have come so close to buying them but because it's made of plastic I just couldn't do it. I have purchased both lunch bots and weespourts stainless steel boxes and while they are durable and good quality they are not leakproof, food would spill into different compartments and wouldn't always be as fresh by lunch.I was just about to buy more Stasher silicone baggies and start sending lunch in small mason jars when I came across these amazing silicone bento boxes. We don't have a ton of extra room in our budget and I had to get two of these so I was scared spending $50 but it was the best decision ever. I'm so glad we got these bento boxes.I can't recommend them enough and will definitely be a repeat customer.

LOVE!! great quality and super cute too
We love these bentos! I have two now and could use more! They are surprisingly leakproof from each compartment. My kids and I both love using them. Easy to clean too!

Does not leak, great product
I purchased two of these. And we love them! The compartments do not leak into each other. For younger kids they may have a hard time getting a good seal once when they close the container. I wish they made a similar size container but with 4 spaces, rather then 5. For adults who would like to take a large salad and a sandwich. These wash up nicely and easily.

Great Silicone Lunchbox but Difficult for Toddlers to Close Themselves
Let me start by saying I love this container. I love that it’s silicone, has several departments that don’t leak in to each other, and is leak-proof. I got it for my son to take to preschool, but it’s not going to work for that. He could open it just fine, but closing it is very tricky because you have to kind of pull the edges of the lid over the edge of the container which I think would be difficult for any kid under 5 or 6 years old (it even takes me a minute). It doesn’t just easily push on like you might think it would. I also needed to put it inside of a lunch box/bag so I could include cold packs with it, the size made that very difficult. I think I have 6+ lunch bags and it only fits in one and even that is a tight fit. I plan to keep it for myself, but it just won’t work for preschool like I originally purchased it for.

It’s too heavy and had a chemical smell
The lunch box itself is nice, it does hold a good amount of food. However, it’s really heavy. It seem to add an extra 2-3lbs to my 6 year old’s backpack. It had a strong chemical smell out of the package and after several of washes the smell wouldn’t leave right away. It took over a week for the smell to finally go away. The lunchbox is spill proof and easy to wash and use. I wouldn’t purchase it again only because of the heaviness.

Good but has a few cons
I love the product but it does have a few cons. One them being that if the lid isn't fully on, which can be difficult because you need to make sure that the lid is completely wrapped around the bottom half. It also isn't the easiest to clean because the top part has all these lips you have to make sure you have a straw brush to clean underneath of them and it easily collects black mold. It is very durable though it can be heated or chilled. It also is basically unbreakable because it's silicone so if your child enjoys throwing things this may be a good lunch box.
