Defective Product/Great Customer Service
1. The product was defective at the [water inlet] supply line connectors. The screw type connector appeared to have strip, became deformed, which allowed water leaking from them. I used brand new supply line hoses for both hot and cold as the old ones were more than five years old. The problem of water leaking immediately began on the hot side after installing and running the washer. I tightened a half turn, less water leaked. Ran a second load, a little water leaked. I attempted tightening a 1/4 turn. The leak became worse, then the cold side began leaking [fast dripping]. I shut off the water removed the hoses and the screws were deformed more on the hot side than the cold. 2. [Good customer service] I filed for a return/refund; its only been 7 days between receiving, installing, and filing for a return. I was refunded my money, I handed the product over to UPS 9/5/24. Don I recommend the aftermarket product, this is my second aftermarket one. The first from another seller failed, leaking on the side, after 8 months. This new one was only used a few times, and cost me time to clean the floors from all the water. The product was very quite like the original. In the end, I ordered, a new OEM, yes very expensive, but....

Perfect!
I own a Whirlpool Cabrio, top load, model # WCW8500DC0 and had been receiving a LF error message for about a month off and on. I changed the hoses, check our home’s water pressure all to no avail. Purchased this part, saved $60 over the Whirlpool store, and the error code is GONE! The water flows so much better and the wash/cleanliness of clothes seems better as well. I’ve since washed 10+ loads and no error. I’m a woman, did the repair solo, and took me about 3 minutes to replace the actual part once I figured out how to remove the top of the washer. Thank you so much for a quality part!

Value vs Risk
The rest of the story. Yes this unit is cheap compared to the OEM but after 9 months ours failed. It somehow developed a pinhole leak in the plastic casting, not in an area you would think be stressed. I expected a little more out of this purchase. I would recommend you buy two so you have a backup. Personally I am going with OEM this time. Good Day

Easy fix to stop water drip
Our washer was dripping water into the tub and it seemed to be getting worse. I found that one of the water inlet valves was not sealing properly. I verified by turning off the water supply and the dripping stopped. I bought this replacement from Amazon as it was more than half the price from the local and online parts stores for the OEM part. After watching a YouTube video on how to access the valve, I replaced it and it took only about 20 minutes and no more drip. Will it hold up as long as the OEM part? I don't know, but I'll take the chance. I would recommend this part.

Worked, but cracked and leaked after five months of use. Seller was willing to replace/refund.
*** UPDATE *** I updated this review to four stars because of customer service. While the product did fail, the company contacted me after my review and offered to send me a new one. I had already purchased a new OEM part, so they gave me a full refund instead. I appreciate their customer service. Bought this in February, and it failed in July. Save yourself the trouble and buy the OEM part. The plastic splits and develops these minor, hairline fractures, releasing a tiny pressurized stream of water out the sides of the part. This occurs inside the head unit of the washing machine, so you can't hear it or even see it until you find water all over the floor. This also means it's shooting water all over your control board, wiring, and other internal electronic parts. I tried it as an experiment to save money, but it didn't work out. I've ordered the OEM part today. Womp Womp.
