Q: Do these mugs have an etched logo on the side like so many do. I want a logo-less mug.

Q: What is lid made of? What kind of plastic is it? polyethylene? polypropylene?

There is no indication anywhere on the lid, box or the bottom of the mug stating which plastic the lid is made with. The description does say BPA free. Try contacting Tru Blu Steel.

Q: Is the outside hot to the touch?

No, the outside stays close to room temp. maybe a few degrees higher. Definitely will not get hot enough to be even slightly uncomfortable.

Q: 13.5 or 14 oz, what's the practical difference other than capacity?

I was going to ask the same question. I'm wondering why they made two different ones that are so close in size. Maybe one has a better chance at fitting in my cup holder? I have cup holders in my car that are side-by-side and there is an open gap in between both, so i'm hoping one of these sizes will fit in there.
