Excellent all-in-one tool.The included cutter works well for removing the plastic insulation. The tool itself provides crimping for all size network cable now in use. There is also an integrated crimper for the metal shielding used on CAT 7.

Love this unit for non-passthrough crimping. Note: It comes adjusted for CAT7 and needs to be adjusted for CAT5 or it will not crimp completely.I had meant to purchase a passthrough unit but this supports both RJ45 and RJ11/RJ12, I still have a lot of RJ45 non-passthrough ends, some other reasons and the price was so good, that I kept it as my backup unit.This style of crimper is about half the weight of the older heaver ratchet style. It has better leverage and takes much less grip to affect a great crimp. For me it is also easier to push larger sheaths into the crimper to get a great crimp.It comes with a stripper that I thought I didn't need but this stripper is much easier to use, that I gave away my old strippers.
