We used this same fire pit on a recent trip to the White Mountains in Vermont. you can build a nice fire without a lot of smoke, and we even finished our sous vide leg of lamb over the hot embers, perfect!

Purchased this for my family to use when they come to visit. We enjoyed a nice fire while watching fireworks. You do need someone strong to move it.

I generally have to get a new fire pit every few years because they rust out, I don't imagine this one will be any different but we'll see. I like the design of this one a little better than others, I just like the look of it and I think that the bowl shape makes it a little easier to load up irregular shaped wood, as well as cleaning it out.

We bought an old house that had been empty for three years. The yard was a wreck. We burned a lot of weeds, debris, vines, dead branches and limbs. Chopped it all small enough to fit this pit. Keeps burning safe. The screen catches cinders from flying away and sparking dangerous fires. We saved all wood that would be good for barbecue. Yum. I highly recommend this burning pit.
