Tastes bad
The new formula has a bad aftertaste and tastes like cows milk. I got rice milk to avoid that nasty flavor. Since the new packaging change its declined so bad.

Best tasting plant 'milk'
I have IBS and can't drink milk. I have tried other plant drinks but this is the only one that doesn't irritate my stomach and to me, it tastes better than the others. The 'Classic original' has the least added ingredients and the one I use.One thing I would mention; Someone told me a while back that they tasted Rice Dream and it was awful. Well I had the same experience recently when drinking it after I had been eating some sweet foods. So I realized it was not the Rice dream but the combination of the food with it. Just as some wines enhance some foods and vica versa so it seems to be with Rice dream. If that happens I eat a piece of plain rice cake to regain the flavour of the drink.Rice dream makes a great base for soups and smoothies too.I have been drinking it for almost 20 years and still love it .
