Seaguar Basix Freshwater Mainline, 100% Fluorocarbon Fishing Line, Multiple Sizes, Clear

I bought this because i was tired of the cheap stuff i was using continually breaking for no reason. Wasn't sure the extra money would be worth it but it is. Higher quality line mean less random break and it spools a lot nicer so fewer birds nests.

I normally use Sunline Sniper for a leader, but I decided to try this since it was cheap and I've heard good things about it. Keep in mind I'm using it for a leader to my braided line. I put it to the test this morning I'm pretty impressed with it abrasion resistance and knot strength. I was using a Z-Man Hula Stick on an Owner Finesse jig head and I hooked into a channel cat while using a medium light spinning rod. The catfish pulled down into jagged rocks over and over again, but the 10lb line held up great! These people you see having problems with birds nests in the reviews don't know what they're doing. You can't put fluorocarbon over 8lb test on a spinning rod and not expect to have problems, and anyone getting birds nests on a baitcaster just isn't skilled enough yet. It's not easy with any fluorocarbon line on a baitcaster. Look at the reviews on Tackle Warehouse and you'll see this is some good line for the price. I'm done paying $20-$30 for expensive fluorocarbon. This stuff works fine as leader material. If you're using it as your main line you might want to get something softer like Invisix or Sunline Sniper

I really enjoy this new fluorocarbon line I am a sea guard line person specially the red line for the price but this.Here is slightly cheaper and the quality is as if not better than the sea guard red line. I mainly use it for trout streams in the 8 pound because it is 0.10 thickness, which is what I use from my main line to my leader along with the top shot that’s in between.

Buying my fishing line this way is a real money saver. With Seaguar you get a top of the line Line at a very good price. I load it on to small spools that fit in my on-the-water hip bag and I'm set.

This fluorocarbon line is the best made Seaguar , I mean they invented the stuff …for your money this is the best deal you’ll find on a quality fluorocarbon line . Sure Seaguar makes many kinds of fluorocarbon lines this one is their budget stuff but still super strong and thin can’t go wrong

I use this flourocarbon as my leader line to braid.I have it ranging from 4lb all the way to 15lb, never had an issue with the line, it's strong and also disappears.Pairs up great with the "kastking silky 8 " braided line.

Vu el prix et le fabriquant j'ai plongé sur ce produit... Une erreur, ce fil est tout simplement de mauvaise qualité... Ne supporte pas bcp de poids, fil vrillé sur la bobine et gardant énormément de mémoire... Je ne fais que très rarement des perruques mais là c'est 6 perruques sur une sortie... Je ne recommande pas ce produit. Désolé Seaguar :(
