How Murray Saved Christmas

This is one of my favorites for a fun Christmas read! This a great book to read aloud to kids.

I like the book, but the movie is better. Usually it is the other way around.It was supposed to be a Christmas present paired with the movie DVD, which we had lost. I couldn't show it to my son right away. Yuck. Muddy, water-damaged, not worth giving to him out of the package.He was puzzled by the gift, anyway. Maybe when he is older and realizes it is a parody? He likes the movie for other reasons.

When I was in elementary school, my mom scrounged up what she could from the dryer, couch, and old coffee can to buy me a book at the scholastic book fair. This is the book I chose. She read it out loud to my class after we bought it, and the story, with all of it's hilarity and funky illustrations, has been a treasured favorite ever since. I bought 8 copies of this to send to all of my siblings and best friends to spread the story. Everyone has said it's their favorite Christmas story yet!This is a must buy to put under the tree for kids and adults alike.

This is such a cute story. I loved reading this to my boys and really getting into character with Murray’s southern drawl.

One of the best kids books I’ve read. I enjoyed it as much as the grandkids!

Used this book for a school Christmas program. We only had to take out 2 pages from the story but overall great book and good rhyme scheme!

I bought 2 of these books for my granddaughter's after my cousin talked about how cute and funny this story is on Facebook. She is 100% correct! This is a good book for young and old alike, you won't be disappointed!

A really funny Christmas book. Would recommend. Illustrations are wonderful as well.

We love this book and it is very hard to find. I bought this copy which was stated used-like new. And while the book is in great condition, there is a page covered in childrens writing. I didn't expect there to be writing in it being stated as "like new" condition. Tried to contact the seller however their profile was unavailable.

Brilliantly written with fantastic water colour illustration. Grandchildren ask me to read it again and videoed me.

Unfortunately, I don't feel this is a book for the UK market as it is very Americanised and refers to and uses the vernacular of the States. Good fun there, probably, but not quite our style of humour, I feel.
