I ordered these Carbon Filter Replacement Cartridges for my RO Unit and have been very pleased. They will fit all standard RO unit canisters. We use our RO water for drinking water, water for our more delicate plants, and for our aquarium (which really helps to minimize algae growth). Regarding their effectiveness, our tap water tends to have a noticeable taste and these cartridges totally eliminate this undesirable taste in our water. Based on how much water you use, we typically replace these every 3 to 6 months. The multi-pack is a great deal and we will continue purchasing this brand. Works great! Reasonably priced

These are in last place on my three stage water filter system for our well water. I use a 5 micron 1st stage, 1 Micron 2nd stage, then this filter at stage 3. It does a good job at keeping the water clean and free of sulfur smell. At 1 Micron it would clog very quickly if used as a single stage if the water has a lot of sediment or rust. These also work well with city water to help with chlorine and deposits.

We are on a 600' well and these filters definitely remove the fine silt and improve the water quality. They are well made and function as advertised. They are a good value for the price and have been invaluable.
