This unit is wicked for the price. In my own opinion, you don't need anything more than this. I was skeptical since this was my first time going with a combo unit, but it kicks harder than donkey trying to jump a fence. If you're looking for a budget sound system this will not disappoint - guarenteed!

Wow sounds great in my car

First off my expectations weren't that this thing was going to go down the road shaking other peoples cars or scaring old people! Realistically I needed something to bring back the low end to my music as I drive a Jeep Wrangler JKU ( all the carpet removed from previous owner ) with 37" aggressive mud tires, with the top off and on the highway you couldn't even hear the radio. Problem solved! First off the stock stereo on jeeps aren't anything to test this thing with. (They are pretty cheap, useless head units.) That said, I won't have to run out and get a new stereo and replace the stock speakers right away. This little thing does everything I need it to. Huge improvement to the stock system. It's not going to impress anyone who's running amps and 15's, but this little thing surprised me, and for it's size and for the price you can't beat it. If you're looking for something to give you just a little more bass this will do just that. I listen to mostly hard rock and metal even with the blast beats this speaker hits pretty well. Haven't had any issues with it overheating, and I have taken it on several 4 hours trips blasting most of the way. Thought about adding a second one, but it's really not necessary , will see how much better this thing does when I update my stock system. But for now I'm happy with it.

Great for the money very similar to JBL go pass subwoofer also the fit was good for my 2004 Honda Civic DX very good sound and power for a small size...

Good little sub/amp combo. I’ve installed all different kinds in my personal vehicles over the years. I had to go with a low profile, compact version for my work truck. I turned all the dials to max and provides a really good thump. Downside to that is it will fault protect quicker at higher volumes. At nominal listening levels it hasnt fault protected on me yet. I did have it fault protect in about an hour when the volume is rather high. Keep in mind Im listening to hard rock/metal, song after song so the amp isnt getting much reprieve to cool down. Additional cooling may solve this problem, although i havent tried to confirm. Dont let that dissuade you though. Still a quality product for the price. Highly recommend.
