Cruel King: A Royal Elite Book

Good book
I loved the snippets we get of Levi and Astrid in their kids book so naturally I had to read their story as well. I have to say so many things make sense now. Good story, in typical Rina style the plot is scarce but the focus is the relationship even if here the focus was the push and pull. It’s and introductory book for the rest of the characters in the series.

Not as dark as I expected but very good
This was a good book. I liked all the characters development and arc over the book along with the twists and turns. There was a bit too much on and off relationship wise for me but very pleased with the outcome and the message it gives.

This series and the author’s writing is so addictive! I loved getting to know Levi and Astrid better and seeing Aiden and Ice Princess through other’s eyes.

The princess and the king
Sweet crazy push and pull love story with everything trauma and fate . Will these two fight it, fate that is, and create their own, or soccombe to it and get their hearts crushed in the process?!

Fab start to the series
Why did I wait so long to start these books. 1st one and I was obsessed. Loved Levi and his jealous ways, I really enjoyed seeing him become closer with Astrid.Loved the back and forth at the beginning with doing things to each other, especially Astrid getting him back. Astrid was the sweetest, loved how she stood up for herself but wasn’t loud and in your face type. I really enjoyed seeing the other guys and can’t wait to start the rest of the books. Fab start to a series.

4.5⭐️
I’m officially beginning my journey from the start of Rina Kent’s reading order. I’ve already read the Legacy of Gods series but when I saw that there was a whole back catalogue of older generations I knew I had to go back to the start!Boy am I glad I did, Levi and Astrid were so good together. Levi was every bit a cocky, confident football player who owns the school. Then Astrid starts of as someone quite quiet and invisible, but she turns into this confident outspoken woman who refuses to be backed into a corner. This had the perfect amount of bully/ enemies to lovers romance to it, there was so much tension and angst between them. Each scene they were together they bounced off each other so well, neither of them backed down which I loved! The chemistry between them was so fiery!I loved the mystery and suspense element of the plot as well, it left me guessing right to the very end!I’m so excited to read the rest of this series and the rest of Rina’s books because I’m sure she can’t write a bad one!

the parents!
After reading the stories about all of the kids, it’s nice to get a taste of the parents. Especially since I heard about them in their children’s stories. Again, this story doesn’t disappoint. It’s not as hard-core as the kids’ stories, which I really liked. The story was so well put together that I couldn’t put it down. I love this author. I love her creativity, wording, and how she fully immerses you in every scene and character’s mind.

Levi & his Princess
A perfect blend of angst, suspense, mystery & spice transformed into the book, Cruel King❤️🔥These two were a beautiful disaster from the start. Both Astrid & Levi have a troubled past that haunts them daily. Through many obstacles & as the dark comes to light, they find their way to each other to have their beautiful ending.- “She knows I won’t be her prince charming, but she still wants me anyway. If anything, she wants me because I’m not.”- “Astrid once told me I was a dark night. It’s on dark nights that stars like her shine the brightest.”✨I really loved the little excerpts at the beginning of every chapter, as if it was just a little thought just for them.Honourable mentions;- The father/daughter moment🥺😭❤️🩹- Astrid’s friendship with Dan- The hilarious banter between Captain & the Four HorsemenAll I can say is.. Karma really took its sweet time with Levi because no wonder he was blessed with the first twin being a psycho & Killian, & Niko, for son-in-laws🤭Because I’m so late to the party I don’t have anything new to add to all of the other reviews, except;I started with God of Malice and continued with the LOG series, now I’m starting from the beginning. This will be a long & emotional rollercoaster, I’m in it for the long haul♥️

Hab's geliebt
