My 11 year old son has been begging me for a butterfly knife and even sent me 30 screenshots of the ones he wants for weeks. I saw this one was on sale so I decided to let him finally have one. I was only going to buy this because the knife part isn't real. It is dull plastic. He tracked the package from the moment we ordered. Everyone knew he had a butterfly knife on the way. His teachers, friends, even the neighbor had to hear about it. The knife finally arrives and he shows all of us, facetimes all his friends, he was so excited. Until an hour later, literally 60 minutes later, it broke. the screws became loose and a little washer was lost in the carpet. He was able to fix it enough to put it together, but he cant play with it without it breaking again. he was so bummed so i went online and asked for a refund and had them send another one. We just received the new one but he wont let anyone touch it, and he wont play with it because he's scared its going to break again. It doesn't bother me that I wasted the money, the only thing that bothers me is that he was let down after being so excited. It has the potential to be a great practice butterfly knife but unfortunately it fell short.

I was realllly excited to use this thing as a practice deal and it felt super high quality at first. Only a few hours of use caused all of its joints/assembly to get loose, and it literally fell apart on my 2nd day of having it. For $15 I feel like it's not a crazy ask for it to not just be super cheap.

It doesn’t feel like cheep plastic and is fun to learn tricks on. My complaints are it’s a little heavy and the screws fell out on the latch after a couple of uses.

The screws fell out with in 10 minutes after getting it

My son loved playing with this and learning handling techniques, but it broke in less than 48 hours. Broke while opening and closing, it wasn’t dropped or misused.

This product worked but the screws became very loose and when I tried to tightened them the screws fell out (no I did not turn them in the wrong direction) my brother then fixed it and the screws proceeded to loosen up minutes after using it again. I do not recommend and I won't buy this product again.
