Very comfortable for long gaming sessions
This OVERSTEEL gaming chair is a fantastic addition to my gaming setup! The sleek black design with ergonomic support keeps me comfortable during long sessions. I love the adjustable armrests and lumbar support, which help reduce strain and maintain good posture. The sturdy base and smooth-rolling wheels make it easy to move, and the high-quality materials feel built to last. A great choice for any gamer looking for comfort and style!

Great looking, comfortable chair!
The media could not be loaded. I've been thinking about getting a decent chair for a while now. I work at home at least 3 days a week and my job means I'm pretty much at my desk the whole time. With my last basic office chair not giving much comfort or support I took the dive and got this beats. It was super easy to get together, maybe 15 mins tops, if even that. I got this on prime day at circa £100 bit even at the normal £140 it is very competitively porcied vs other chairs out there, and waaaay under the price of some brand ones.It looks great, I went dark grey and whilt and it looks really cool, very happy with it. It cushions me nicely, the raised lip at the side of the seat holds me in place and makes me feel supported, as do the wings put the side of the back part. The cushions actually work a that for me. I sit upright and the lumber cushion gives me a really good posture and the neck pillow ensures I can keep that spine in place all the way up. Height and seat tilt adjustable as well as the back angle being adjustable too, so you can get it how you want it. Fully capable of slouching in it of that's what you want.My only slight grumble, and it's minimal, is the arms. Again height adjustable which is good, and they are actually comfortable too... but they don't lock on place very well in regards of the way they face. You cam angle them to the left, fowrad, right etc, but if you move to much whilst resting on them they don't stay in place. Minimal and it shouldn't put you off this chair.Excellent item, fairly priced, highly recommended!!

Decent Chair
Was bought due to good value and good supporting cushions. Very happy with chair after few months use. Easy to assemble but wish there was a way of locking the arms in place as they are adjustable but stay 'wobbly'. I also wish the arms went higher up but still reasonable for use.

Flimsy, cheap, and short-lived
Bought this chair a year ago now and I’m having to look for a new chair. It’s loud and creeky. The chair feels unstable and wobbles when I lean back in it. The faux leather is pealing and it scratches my legs. There’s barely any back support as well. Wouldn’t recommend especially for the price.

Value for money compared to bigger brands
I'm the type of person that spends a lot of time at their computer/desk due to work and also being a big gamer. The chair was very easy to put together and done relatively quick. The chair was comfy to but after a few hours I found the edges of the seat would dig begin to hurt, however, after a few more hours of use I no longer have this problem and cannot fault the chair!I was worried about this brand as never heard anything about Oversteel but I'm super happy with the quality and my purchase! I look forward to purchasing future products from this company in the not so far future!

Eh... Not bad, but with the xperience, I'd buy a different one.
My first 'gaming' chair, so no other brands to compare to. Reviewing after approx 17-18 months use.tl;dr - Not bad, but definitely not great. It'll do for bridging the gap between now and when I get a better chair.Looks 5/5.Can't fault it. Once assembled, it looks clean. In an office set-up, it'd look a bit out of place, but in front of a gaming PC and the RBG that comes with it, the chair looks wonderful.Material 4/5Metal, plastic, faux leather, fabric and dense foam. It looks premium, though the plastic doesn't look great. They could have made it look a little more industrial (how, I don't know) but it's fine as I'm not really looking at the plastic bits when I'm sat on it.The fabric is nice, not rough to the touch and looks great.Durability 2.5/5Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. This is where it falls down. Lets start with the foam.I spend anywhere from 2-8 hours Mon-Fri in the chair, for work, gaming, watching TV etc. It's basically my work and entertainment hub.I sit in multiple positions; one knee up one leg down, cross-legged, at a diagonal angle and lean against the back wings and how normal people sit. I've used the recliner a few times but not often enough that I remember it's there. With this in mind, the foam on the seat has massively dipped. While it contours certain sitting positions, it aggravates others, so now I'm forced to sit in one or two positions whereas I used to be able to change positions. Given the dip is more than likely uneven, it feels like I'm bent slightly to one side and I'm compensating with my core which gives an ache under my ribs on one side after prolonged sessions.Think of an old mattress with a dip in the middle; you can sleep on it but you wish you had another mattress. The hydraulic pipe seems to be moving/wiggling a lot more than it used to when first assembled. No idea if this is normal of hydraulic chairs after time, but the pipe wobbles left and right slightly when shifting my weight and doesn't sit flush. This may also be contributing to my overcompensating and my rib pain, but unconfirmed. For the sake of fairness, it could be me being accustomed to sitting in a bad position. It still works as intended, raising and lowering when the lever is pulled. I've not really changed the height often, mostly by accident when trying to reclineTHE ARM RESTS. MY WORD! They are AWFUL. Straight away they are uncomfortable, and if you have a high desk, completely useless. I had to buy memory foam arm rests to boost the height so my arms were actually level with my desk. The travel is only a few inches. They have 3 different angles in which they can be rotated; outward, neutral, or inward. This is useful for when changing seating positions in the chair, but after time, the mechanism gets to a point where you have to use such force to get them to swivel, it feels like they're going to break, followed by a loud "CRACK" as you force the mechanism to accept the position you want to swivel the arm rests in. I thought I broke it the first time it happened. They are fixed position, so you can't move the arm rest stems back or forward. Given the chair can recline 180 degrees, the arm rests being fixed basically means no arm rests when reclined. The plastic covers to hide the screw heads at the side don't last, either. Mine popped off within a few weeks and won't go back on.But, as it stands, the chair hasn't ripped, fallen apart, or stopped working in any way.Ergonomics 3.5/5I'm in two minds about this. I could just be getting used to what actual ergonomics are, I could be in bad sitting positions assuming it's good, or it could be the chair. The head pillow always falls down below the nape of my neck, and such it's always being readjusted, which is annoying. Same with the back rest if you're a mover like myself. I can't say either of the supports have done much to my notice. Still have some lower back pain.Recline, and the arm rests become completely useless. They're inconvenient at best regardless of position.I'm not a fan of the 'wings' either. I was under the assumption they'd keep me in place for a healthy sitting position but they just restrict my movement. When sitting cross legged they dig in to my thighBut, it's still intact, and it's still working as a chair. Would I buy another once this reaches end of life? No. Not at all. There are similar chairs at a lower price point, or you can spend an extra 40/50 for one that's better.IMO this chair shouldn't be more than £100, so if you can get it at that price point, I'd give a cautious recommendation, but at £160, it's a hard no.
