great dish soap that i want!
Fresh grapefruit scent and very effective at cutting grease. A little goes a long way, and it’s gentle on my hands with no irritation. I also like that it’s hypoallergenic and eco-friendly. Great value for a large bottle!

So fresh!
This grape grapefruit dish soap is the rare dish soap that makes washing dishes, feel slightly less like a personal attack. It cut through grease fast, rinse is clean without leaving that weird, slippery residue, and the grapefruit scent is bright and fresh without smelling like a neon chemical fruit apocalypse. A little goes a long way, it lathers nicely, and my hands don’t feel like they’ve been through a drying desert trek afterwards. Five stars because if I do dishes, I at least want my skin to smell like I’m thriving, not I’m suffering.

Good product, but goes fast
I was looking for a good-quality environmentally better dish soap. This works quite well. I do keep a side bottle of Dawn for extra-greasy jobs, but I don't need to use it much; this does a good job with most grease. It has a very mild fragrance, which I appreciate. I can't stand the heavy fragrance of most other brands, including Dawn. Not only do I just personally find it unpleasant, but why do I want all that fragrance on my dishes?? Price is great, too. My one note is that it goes pretty fast. I don't know if it's because I've been used to a highly concentrated product, but I've been a bit surprised at how fast it goes. So, maybe the price is a little less great than I thought.

LOVE
Let's be clear: I did not buy this soap, ECOS Pear Dishmate, for dishes. I bought it for the scent. It smells less like a cleaning product and more like a secret, forbidden fruit grown in an enchanted orchard that only appears once every thousand years. If I could bathe in this pear, I would. If I could use it as a cologne, I'd probably be arrested for smelling too appealing. The problem? It's actually good at its job. This is where things get confusing for me. I was ready to forgive its incompetence, given the olfactory paradise it provides, but no—it cuts through week-old lasagna remnants and that mysterious, cemented-on stuff at the bottom of the roasting pan like a tiny, pear-scented ninja. My dishes are so clean, they almost don't recognize themselves. They look shocked and gleaming. If you enjoy having clean dishes, soft hands, and a kitchen that smells like a magical orchard, avoid this soap. But if you want a true, life-changing experience that might make you question everything you thought you knew about cleaning supplies, then, by all means, buy it. Just don't blame me when you start hugging your bottle of pear soap.

Great Product - Long time customer
I love this Grapefruit scented dish soap! It is very gentle on my sensitive hands and does not dry me out even in the winter up north. That said it gets the job done perfectly without having 10x the suds that the leading mainstream products have (to make you feel like they are working but just require so much more water to rinse away). It is a bit more viscous than the other leading brands which is fine by me as I use it in my built-in sink soap dispenser. The consistency has NEVER ever clogged up the pump unlike Palm.....other brands. The scent is not a fake one which I find enjoyable and not in your face overpowering. Love that it is uses natural citrus oils for its ability to cut the grease. I have seen a few negative reviews for the Free & Clear and perhaps that is the difference.... get the Grapefruit one! Let the fruit acids do their thing. :)

Not easy to dispense
This soap is more like a gel than a liquid so it has trouble coming out of the soap brush. It cleans well and smells ok, but the ease of use is suboptimal.

Loving my dish soap
I would rather wash the dishes than place them in the washer machine. It's my way of helping in the kitchen but I know how many chemicals are in the regular dish soap and it bothers me. I cannot verify what I am about to say but my mother was the same way she washed the dishes rather than placing them in the dishwasher. Here is why I am bringing this up. She died a cancer, what you need to know is she lived in the garden growing 100% of all her vegetables for the last 45 years of her life. She didn't spray the insects, but she was insanely aware of her environment and grew her own vegetables to insure she was in control of what her and my father ate daily. What she was not thinking about was the chemicals she used in the kitchen not just the dangerous dish soap, I have always wondered it those chemicals did her in. Just my personal thoughts.

Moderate cleaning power. Recommend to mention expiry date of the product for those who want to store for long period.
