Needless to say, when I learned the two would be co-writing a book I was extremely excited. Sara and Rachel did not dissapoint. I have to say that reverse harem is not a trope I have read a lot of. Ironically, "Four" is the 4th reverse harem book I have read. I couldn't put it down. If it wasn't for my 10 hour office days I would've devoured it sooner. "Four" is a dark reverse harem romance packed with a lot of drama, imperfect characters, and steamy scenes. In an instant, Iris Pavetta's life completely changed and the only life she had known became non-existant. The only thing she had was the last words her father whispered, "find Silas Black," but when Iris showed up at the Black home demanding answers, she found so much more that she could have ever imagined - Silas Black - a man who exude confidence, power, and strength. Gabriel Black - torturer or tortured soul? Baron Black - cold, callous and heartless. Neither of them could have ever imagined that the life they once knew would spiral into one of desire and chaos; secrets and lies; betrayal and forgiveness.Listen, when a beautiful girl who embraces her sexuality shows up unexpectedly and starts living with three hot guys who lack affection and intimacy things are going to get pretty insanely hot. I absolutely love that Sara and Rachel gave us female character in a reverse harem situation that was in control. Not once did she feel bad or shame for wanting what she wanted. Iris wasn't shy. She acknowledged her desires and used them to her advantage. Don't get me wrong. She was young and there were instances in which she acted impulsively, but that's what I loved about her. She wasn't a "doormat" who simply followed orders. The girl was a fighter and she sure proved that over and over throughout this book.I loved all three of the guys for different reasons, but Silas is my favorite. He was my #1 from the beginning and the other two simply couldn't knock him off the spot. Gabriel, I just wanted to to hug him and hold on to him. Now Baron, listen.....I mean, he is Silas' son!If reverse harem is not your jam, or if you haven't read many of them READ THIS ONE. I guarantee you are not going to want to put it down. The book does include plently of dark elements that are not for the faint of heart, but that's what made this story so captivating. You really didn't know what was going to happen next. If you have read any of Sara and Rachel's books then you know - you know that these amazing ladies can deliver unconventional taboo stories that are emotional, steamy and plot driven. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

This was such a great read! RH, age gaps, grumpy sunshine forced proximity enemies to lovers. Great characters and the plot twists were great.

I really enjoyed this storyline, but I struggled a bit with the characters and the shitty ass editing and proofreading. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a book written by two authors, is very clearly written by two authors, and that was the case with this one. It made it difficult some times to really stay in the moment with the story because some of the issues were so glaringly obvious that it was painful.This book started out really strongly, and I was hooked from the start. Iris, an 18-year-old doing 18-year-old things and acting like a snobby 18-year-old, is stuck on house arrest because she's the daughter of a mafia boss, but instantly loses everything she holds dear when her father and every person she knows is murdered right before her eyes. It's quick, it's fast-paced, and it's kind of exhilarating, and you're right there with her as she escapes to find Silas Black per her dad's parting words. Even once she found Silas and his two sons, I was still along for the ride. These were mean, brutal men with zero room for emotion or compassion in their life, and Iris had to figure out where to go from here.Unfortunately, this was when the book took a turn and, while I really don't mind a heroine slipping right onto a dick after just a few pages (because you go girl, embrace that sexual freedom), when it happened with Iris and the Blacks it felt unnatural, especially because she wouldn't 👏🏼 stop 👏🏼 talking 👏🏼 about it 👏🏼 Like look, we get it girlfriend, you like sex, we know. It *did* help to remember she was only 18 and certainly immature, but that only made it far less believable when she tripped onto Silas's dick. The man was 40 years old and there is absolutely no way, with her attitude and "I do what I want I know better than you even though I'm a sheltered child" mindset this man would have been interested but YOLO.Look, I'll be honest and admit I was gripped by the storyline. I read this book more for the guys than Iris because she's borderline a nightmare, but nothing stopped me from inhaling this book in a day, so there was definitely something in the Kool-aid keeping me entertained (Gabriel. It was Gabriel.) and I certainly am very interested to see what happens for this foursome next. I just think this book could have been so much better and, because of that (and all the god damn typos and errors) it fell short. Hopefully the next one is better!

I really enjoyed this mafia revenge RH. First off, Ivy is a great heroine. She is strong but real and I love how she is not ashamed of her sexuality but in control of it. Would love to see more of this in books. I liked Silas and Baron but my heart is all for Gabriel. I don't want to spoil anything but I'd also love to see more like him in books. I also am a sucker for the beautifully broken. This book took some twists and turns and kept me in suspense and had some definite steam. Great read

She fully capitaves and damn her badassary vibe leaves you girl crushing. 😍My jaw firmly was hanging wide the heck open for the last 30% of the book and my heart has finally calmed down but i WAS not ok. That ending is ahhh all the feels but my lips are sealed!These 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 are unlike no other and this journey Sara & Rachel have created has assinatated it's way to my top ultimate reads!

Four is the 1st book in the Black Hearts series and what a great read!!! It was gritty, dark, twisty, violent, heart warming and it really pulled me in from the start.Iris starts the book as a sheltered Mafia princess and after tragedy strikes, she finds herself on the doorstep of Silas Black and his sons Baron and Gabriel. They teach her their ways and by the end she has learnt to stand on her own 2 feet, to defend herself and exact her revenge. Iris is a force to be reckoned with in her own right. The chemistry Iris has with her guys is pure fire!!!I thought I knew what was going to go down in the next book but now I'm not so sure. Can't wait to get into Five!!!
