I have had this filter since 2022 and it has continued to run effortlessly! All the people on here saying DO NOT BUY, more than likely got something knocked loose during transit or just got a faulty fountain. I buy the replacement filters in bulk and other than that I clean the tank everytime I refill which is about every 3 weeks. It works great for my 2 cats, they love drinking from it and it got my little guy to stop drinking from my toilet 😭. I never have a noise problem unless the water is low, then you can hear it running dry. It flashes different colors at you for when the filters need to change and when to refill the water, but honestly like I said, I clean and refill every 3 weeks so it's fine. Very easy to clean, definitely use q-tips to clean where the water spouts from and to clean the sputung part of the motor. I'm actually going to buy another one so my other cat can have his own fountain too.

To expensive but no choice for the cat fountain I've purchased. It could be redesigned to be more cost effective if they would just sell the filter individually to fit into the reusable plastic cartridge holder. Consider the redesign please. $5 a filter is not necessary!

I don’t usually do reviews but….. I have used more than a fair share of pet water fountains over the years. All either the pump burns out or gets grimy and clogged… even though I weekly clean. I was hesitant to try yet another…. but this one!!! Having a wireless pump is so easy to clean and no more wires!! This fountain is incredible! Water runs smoothly, no loud noise, pump comes completely apart for easy cleaning, and all the inner parts can go in the dishwasher weekly to sterilize. There are a few different settings too, intermittent water or constantly running, and the light is not super bright and can turn on or off, the color changes to tell you what needs to be replaced and if the dish is empty. I can’t say enough good things! My cats are drinking constantly now! Do yourself a favor and buy it! You’ll never need another!

Fits our cat's water fountain perfectly and does a good job of filtering hair and food bits that inevitably get in there. I have no idea is it's actually filtering the water or not.

Filters are $17 for a set of three, $68 a year for double filtered water, with self cleaning pump. This does not mean you never have to clean it. That would be gross. Not sure where others are getting hundreds of dollars for HomeRun Pet filters. I have multiple HomeRun Pet products, for years, and have had zero issues with all products. Bought Pet Libra, but honestly HRP is better. Every time I read a bad review I’m shocked. Never had to replace parts or pumps. The cleaning process is great and for $50, I’ll pay that for my babies! This product is amazing!
