Actually I Am: Complete Series

Unique story! But a new DVD should never really cost over $20, most other things in the world these days are high priced too though.

This is a light-hearted, fun rom-com series with supernatural/sci-fi elements in a generic high school setting. I won't give away too many of the details, but the premise is that the main character, Kuromine Asahi, is a guy who just can't keep a secret or tell a lie without it being painfully obvious that he's lying. So what's he to do when he finds out the girl who he is in love with, Shirigami Yuoko (whose name is no doubt a pun on the Japanese words Shinigami (Death-god) and Yokai (Ghost)) is secretly a vampire, and he has to keep her secret or she must leave forever? And his class' uptight representative is actually an alien? Well, funny stuff happens, with the occasional dramatic emotional moments.Nothing overtly lewd (except a pervy female werewolf), no fan-service (no nudity or even pantsu), and no bad language or violence, so it's ok for youngsters to watch.Overall a fun series, with good comedy, and lots of silliness and cuteness. I hope a second season is made! The manga is good too, I recommend it! :D

Not dubbed only subtitles still a good show

All episodes on one disk, just Japanese voice acting, and a refreshing take on the boy surrounded by girls theme. Firstly, all the girls aren't in love with the guy. There are foils and women in there just doing their thing. The series is more about the girls denying their feelings, which plays nicely against the guy. He's not a total loser, just a very honest guy. So honest that apparently he can't keep secrets, so the wide range of women with secrets apears. Actually, this is kind of weak, though it gives some semblance of reason behind him struggling so hard - though, his attraction and care for others really could've been enough. With such bizarre characters, there are a few episodes I didn't favor for defending into silliness, but overall the stories were quite good and built up well. The humor is a strength of the series, and I laughed out loud a few times. Unlike other anime of this type, it is steeped in the characters thoughts, emotions, motivations, mistakes, misunderstandings, and the small happiness they find in the moments they allow themselves to be honest - if not to others, than to themselves. It elevates the series, even as the subtitles begin to flicker out in the later episodes. This inadvertently adds a kind of desperate accompaniment to the conclusion. The ending is just ok, though, in that, well, we're not going to budge from the balance we've got now thing that satisfies Japanese sensibilities. All in all, a good anime that I'd like to see more of.

I love having the whole series. It's also on crunchyroll premium. So... there's that.

Not dubbed

This show is great for when you don't want to watch something serious. It's light hearted and pleasant.

Miss labeled it says dubbed but it’s not it’s only subbed for a person who has dyslexia and has a slow time with reading it’s really inconvenient

原作は、少年チャンピオンコミックス『実は私は』全22巻。一般的な国内プレイヤーで再生出来ます（再生環境/SONYの2015年～の最廉価プレイヤー『BDP-S1500』）。タイトルで日本語《2.0》と字幕《OFF》を選択すると、普通に鑑賞する事が出来ます。北米版で全13話は、普通2枚組になるのですが、最近の日本の《全話一気見シリーズ》と同様に余計なオプション映像を一切省いて1枚のブルーレイに本編全てが収録されています。ただ、映像特典として、ノンクレジットOP＆ED等は付いています。内容としては、定番の学園ラブコメ系なんですが、本作ではメインヒロイン2人に、サブヒロイン2人を交えてのドタバタ劇で、全てのヒロインに何らかの秘密があり、その秘密を主人公が隠し通しつつ学園生活をおくって行く、というのが物語の主軸になっています。アニメ版では物語の途中で終わっていますが（綺麗に一区切りはついています）、原作版では完結しているので、続きが気になる方はそちらで物語の最後を確認するのと良いでしょう。私は、本商品鑑賞後に本作にはまったので、早速電子書籍で物語の続きを追いかけていますｗ

Es una serie entretenida! A lo mejor lo único "malo" es que viene en un solo disco y estoy acostumbrado a que sean varios discos pero todo está perfecto
