After reading the online reviews it was clear to me some people where using a different size binocular than what this was intended for. This made it really confusing to figure out if things would fit correctly. So for this review rest assured this is on a Canon 18 x 50 which can be found here. https://www.amazon.com/Canon-Stabilization-All-Weather-Binoculars-Batteries/dp/B00004THDE As you can see in the photos I have UV haze filters with hard snap on covers on the front end and soft caps over the eye pieces. I found that if you insert the eye pieces in the case first then gently push down on the front of the binoculars it pops right in. The eyepiece covers help to stop the soft rubber around them from folding up or over. The OEM neck strap was rolled up and place between the eyepieces were they do not interfere with closing the case. There is even room for spare batteries and wipes if you should need them. When you go to close the case it will stop before closing all the way with a 1/4" gap. Just run the zipper around to close the rest of the way. The stock photo looks gray in color but it is black. The case also comes with a neck strap that clips onto the sides for easy removal. This case actually offers some protection unlike the one that came with the bin binoculars.

A Canon 15x50 AW fits perfectly, very nice tailor made bag
Canon supplies a worthless bag with these expensive binoculars, so I started looking for a nice other bag. While searching I came across this bag on Amazon which looked fantastic. In practice it is a very nice bag, the Canon 15x50 AW fits perfectly in it. The fit is maybe a little too precise, because any UV filters will make it a little cramped. The included shoulder strap is too narrow to comfortably carry over the shoulder with such heavy binoculars, so I use my own. It would be nice if this bag also had room for a separate shoulder strap that is attached to the binoculars, so that it is also secured when you take the binoculars out of the bag. But in summary, a very nice bag.

Binocular don’t fit when filters are attached
I attached clear UV filters to my binoculars and now they won’t fit inside the case. I doubt I’ll ever use this case.

Don’t fit
My newly ordered canon 18x50 is all weather binoculars don’t fit with the included lens caps. Otherwise quality appears good

Protective? Not really.
They fit ... kind of. But calling them "protective" is a stretch. There's no room for anything but the thinnest of straps -- and Canon's 18x50 binocs are too heavy to wear for length with the OEM straps. They're useless to carry around with you and unlike other cases they're not designed to let the binoc straps remain outside the case. You either need a separate strap for the case or a strap that clips from the binocs to the case and back again. It's TIGHT. And thin. With caps, you're really stretching the material. And if you think you don't need UV filters and lens caps on the coated lenses of $1000+ binoculars as you use them outdoors, well, more power to you, I guess. As others mentioned, you probably should take the batteries out so you don't trigger the IS function. And of course there's no room for batteries, filters, larger strap, etc. in the bag.Honestly this case provides about as much protection as a thick tee shirt. It's better than nothing, but... I will note that compared to Canon's OEM vinyl "sack", at least this is more likely to keep out dust and debris. But that's it.

Fits the binoculars perfectly
I really do not understand the people who are saying the binoculars do not fit. They fit perfectly. No I do not have covers on the front, but they do not need them. I sometimes think people look for a problem where none exists. This cover will protect them way better than the Canon soft bag that comes with them.

Best Binocular Case Ever
This case is strictly for the Canon 15x50 or 18x50 image stabilized binoculars. It will accept no other brand whatsoever. I can't figure out for the life of me some of the bad reviews about this protective case, since the useless factory bag that it comes with, compared to this case, is like night and day! I've had the factory bag since 2010 and I just got this case. It's like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. It's molded foam, covered in a wetsuit like material. If you drop it, you'll actually stand a chance of them working again. With the factory bag, never. The case is strictly meant for the binoculars, not your lens filters (which they absolutely do not need) or the strap. Someone even mentioned something about extending the eye cups. The eye cups DO NOT extend on these particular binoculars so obviously, they have the wrong pair. There's even a velcro strap for a extra pair of batteries. Anybody who knows these binoculars, knows that it really stinks if the batteries die and you don't have any with you. I highly recommend this case for anybody who owns these specific Canon binoculars. For all those who are trying to put any other brand or type of binoculars in this case, it will not work. PS-One other customer mentioned that the IS button was activated through the case and I just can't figure out how they could possibly do that unless they packed a couple of boxes on top of it in the back of a truck or something. Just another ridiculous statement. To all the Canon 15x50 and 18×50 owners out there, enjoy!!

Quality made in America
So this fits my 18X50 image stabilized cannon all weather binoculars with eye protectors and neck strap perfectly. Will certainly protect better than the factory case. Bit probably a mad idea to drop the glasses. Made in America was a nice addition. Would buy again but theese will last me a long time.
