POHL SCHMITT Dehumidifier for Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Basements, Portable Small Design, Light Grey

I brought Pohl + Schmitt Humidifier on 15 Feb it stops working what to do and y such product on sale on Amazon.

The dehumidifier can’t turn on after 6 monthes. Very disappoint , can’t find any support! Dont but this unless you want a disposable unit.When it can turn on , it is not powerful either . I put it in my enclosed porch, close the door . And I can see the condensation in the wall when it is running. And it takes a week before the tank is full.Update, I contact the vendor and provide the photo SN information , get a replacement in few days without return the broken one . The new actually work well and more efficient than the first one . Maybe the first one I got is a defect product

Update to post as of 6/3/23:I have to apologize to Pohl Schmitt Electric Dehumidifiers and give major kudos to them and I've changed my "Overall rating" to 5 stars. The problem we thought we were having with the unit turned out to be an electrical problem with one of the outlets in our closet, so that's not their product's fault. In fact, they reached out to us to give us a refund, but we'll take responsibility for the faulty outlet and we'll have to get that fixed! Thanks, Pohl Schmitt, for a great product, and we can see why you've got so many 5-star reviews.Original post on May 15, 2023:We put this in our walk-in closet and the product worked exactly as advertised from Nov 5, 2022 to April 5, 2023 and then it just stopped. It was great, but we only got about five months of operation out of it in total. We got it in a Lightning sale, so it was a little more expensive than a box of those giant Damp Rid hangars. With the dehumidifier, we were able to just dump the water out every couple weeks or so. (Emptying those giant things of Damp Rid is gross, but emptying the dehumidifier was much cleaner.)

As it is not a compressor or desiccate dehumidifier it will not extract large quantities of water. It does however work as expected for me. On overage I draw between 3 and 4 ounces a day. I have it in my bathroom and it does help with the humidity a bit. While I do not regret it, I would not recommend unless you are placing it in a small space. 5 stars because it does in facet draw water from the air. Cute little thing.

Bought this for the bathroom since there isn't any ventilation in there and the dog love to pee in there so the door stays closed. I does work and takes about 2-3 days to fill up. The air isn't as stagnant but still humidity in there. I think this would would better with a bigger fan (more noise) of if you were using it in an open/ ventilated room.

Lasted 3 years, ran 24/7 with no problems until it started vibrating few months ago. It died today smelling like arcing electronics, a fire hazard. Not bad for $25.00. Kept it in the kitchen to help with humidity from sink and dishwasher and laundry room nearby. No complaints. Wish it hadn't died. Glad I was here when it did.
