I had to send it back because it was missing the white plug for the hole.. the new one I got also didn’t have a white plug. Doe it not come with one ?

It does not come with a plug. No plug is needed. The hole is so you can fill the body with water. Don’t fill to high as the water will expand. Leave it out for about 10 minutes before trying to twist the top off.

Does anyone else experience face redness the next day after using ice on face?

No redness after using ice on my face. Although everyone has different skin types. It does say not to let ice stay on your face for too long. As it can cause irritation and redness, or even frost nip.
