This light is pretty good but does have a couple of issues, the thing is crazy bright on full but it is a little fiddly to install as you have to hold everything in place while attaching to the ceiling bracket and needs two people to do it.Secondly it has weird quirk that if you leave it switched on at the wall switch and turn off with the remote it doesn't turn off fully and has very slight glow to it which in a bedroom is not ideal.Apart from that I quite like the design and the brightness is brilliant if you want a bright working environment.

Fantastic light, very bright and it has great variance in temperature giving you plenty of choice. I got one as a gift for my mother as the light in her kitchen was very dim, with visible shadows in each corner. That's not an issue with this light!However I've had to dock a star, for two reasons. What I thought we could do was set it to a temperature and brightness she likes with the remote, and then every time we switch it on it would default to that... nope. That's not an option. If we switch it on at the wall, it powers on at a certain brightness and temperature. If we switch it off and then back on, it comes back with a different brightness and temperature level. It's cycling through maybe four or five different presets.You can leave it switched on at the wall and use the remote to turn it off. This does leave it on in a low power state, as others have said you can see the slight glow. This may keep the brightness and temperature levels you want, but I don't want to have to keep it on forever no matter how little power it's using (also hilarious, the manual claims it's using "A++ power efficiency" but the sticker on the box shows the EU rating level and it's nowhere near A, never mind A++. It's at E.)The second reason is that the instructions you get for the remote are very poor. There are a few buttons on there that it doesn't say anything about. Auxiliary, Section and the middle button with the light on it. What do they do? No idea. Do they do something in combination? No idea. The manual points out what changes colour temperature, brightness, night light, on and off and that's it. Good luck with the rest.I'm sounding very negative now but this is genuinely a good led light. Just be aware of how it actually operates.

I wish I could give this zero stars. I ordered this light in May but only got it fitted 3 weeks ago. It looked great at first but today it flashes on and off, half of the LED lights are brown and some flash blue. Because it was ordered a while back i can't request a return so i now have to pay out for a new one and pay an electrician to fit it again. Not happy.

Today I am going to review a product. The remote control is pretty good, I did not expect it to work as well because of the low price. The brightness is amazing we can dim it and put it on night mode etc. It was really easy to install although i found some difficulty figuring out the wires. Should I think you should buy it? The answer is yes and no due to the pros and cons listed above.

I had read a lot of reviews prior to ordering this light and picked up a few tips on the way. As someone commented the instructions for assembling the light are useless, its better to look at the photo's on your order to orient the arms correctly, also the wiring diagram to connect the arms isn't up to much but we got there in the end. Fitted the light to the ceiling which was easy just live neutral and earth to connect and secured the light with the supplied bracket and turned the light on, we were initially impressed with how bright it was until we came to adjust the settings via the remote, this is easier said than done as the remote is very hit and miss , this is caused by the little receiver in the light being hidden behind one of the arms, I recalled another review where the person had repositioned the receiver in the light to the centre so down came the light, drilled a new hole for the receiver bang in the centre, reassembled and re fitted the light and bingo the remote now works perfectly, Guessing now ive drilled a hole my warranty is void but it now works great so I dont really care. Would I recommend this light ? well yes I would but only after and if you feel capable of modifying it. This should really be addressed at manufacture.
