Good bit of work, lots of glue, lots of fun
The media could not be loaded. This kit was a lot more work than I had been expecting, but I still enjoyed it a lot. It surprised me how much glue was required, mostly just because I'm used to 3D wooden puzzles that usually require no glue at all. Note that it comes with no tools, glue, nor batteries.Things you'll need before beginning this kit:- Glue (lots of it - I used a glue gun, Elmer's stick glue, and Elmer's liquid glue; the last of which can take painfully long to dry)- Scissors- A ruler with centimetres (instructions measure by cm)- Tweezers / something small to handle the tiny pieces with (your fingers will be too huge)- Batteries for the LED lights (I used three AG10's/LR1130's - or Duracell 389/390's)- A small screwdriver- A high stat in sleight of hands, as you will be managing many small piecesINSTRUCTIONS: The guide book comes with an index of all the pieces at the very beginning, which is a life saver to know what exactly you should be using, as the English isn't perfect and the pictures not always that detailed. The pictures were probably the most helpful part, since the wording could get confusing or unclear. Overall it's not too hard to figure out how everything goes together, though as some others have suggested, it's never a bad idea to read ahead in the instructions to see where everything is ultimately going.PIECES: All the pieces came in well. The only extras you'll get are good bit for certain pieces like the little plants, as well as paper/cloth materials used to cover the other pieces.QUALITY: The quality was what you'd expect - none of my pieces came in broken, but the pre-painted pieces weren't necessarily painted precisely. In the end, most of the end quality just depends on how well you can stick everything together, but even with some 'sloppy' parts on your end, it can still look great. If I had to complain about one thing, it'd be the music box quality: in the video I attached, you can tell the music spokes are a little bit out of rhythm, and it also might be missing a couple notes or have a couple rogue notes added in that ruin the song.All in all, this kit takes a lot of work, but is worthwhile and rewarding. The lights add a nice cozy touch, and the music box plays the classic Carrying You from Laputa: Castle in the Sky. The youngest age I'd recommend this for is probably 14, since it takes a good bit of patience and finger dexterity. This may be the beginning of a new addiction for me though woops.

Patience = Success
Products like these take a lot of patience and overall a few hours to assemble. Parts are extremely small and can even require the use of tweezers to put together. I'm not the best assembler of miniatures however it shows that if you take your time and you're patient, you'll get a great result. I've put together other minatures of the same brand and I love them. Its relaxing and beautiful when they're done, they also make a fantastic gift. This one in particular I was excited to open to see it had a music box and attached to it a metal plate that sits under to make it spin!It was packaged wonderfully, nothing broken, nothing missing. This seller also replaces missing parts, which I assume is a rare occurance.I'd buy again from this seller because their prices for these miniatures are extremely fair considering most others charge more.Also the instructions can be in relatively broken English, however I find the pictures the most helpful and self explanatory

Can’t wait to assemble this!
Okay, so let’s start by saying this is NOT made for children to assemble. It has a ton of tiny parts and even paper to cut out to create each accessory. For example, to create the basket, you must create a paper cylinder and then wrap and glue twine around it. So even for tweens, I’d recommend having an adult help. That being said, it is a fantastic project for a teenager or even an adult and children can certainly enjoy the adorable final product. If this seems intimidating, you’ll find comfort in the fact that the manufacturer offers to replace any accessories for free. So if something goes wrong at any point in the process, they’ve got you covered. Looking forward to building this and assuming all goes well, checking out some of the other DIY rooms they offer.

Missing parts
Purchased Fantasy Forest musical and light up DIY kit and lights did not work; battery case was not included in kit. Had to purchase battery case separately but lights still did not work. Very disappointed this is 2nd DIY mininiature kits and there is always something missing.

Fantastic for anyone who likes to build miniatures or little crafts!
I love this kit so far. I have not completed it yet, but so far it is just the right level of challenge and fun. Many of the pieces are TINY. The instructions are pretty easy follow. I would recommend reading ahead before starting. I did not and had to undo a few things because many pieces are meant to be cut and used for multiple parts of the decorations. The cuts to make are measured in cm so have a ruler ready, I am using a measuring tape for sewing. I would also suggest having something heavy and flat to ensure some of the glued pieces dry flat. I had one piece curl a little. Getting the right amount of glue so it doesn’t spew out from the sides has been the most difficult for me so far. I am using a foam craft glue because it is thick, so it stays put, and dries clear. Also, it requires batteries and does not come with them. I thought about foregoing the LEDs to not have to go get a battery, but it appears that the music box component has a microchip and will require the batteries to work. I will try to update my review once I’ve completed the project.*Update* As far as the finished product, it came out amazing. It was meant as a gift after completion and the recipient LOVED it! In the end I screwed up some of the wiring, so one of the three lights didn’t work. But this was 100% my fault. All of the lights worked on arrival. After all said and done, I have to actively resist getting another kit because making this one was so fun!

Cute but ridiculously tiny
Cute but super tiny. The furniture is about the since of the finger nail on my pinkie. The assembled product (without box) fits in the palm of my hand. Personally too small for my taste, would not purchase again. The battery back I received also had a short.
