Great product, but after buying it I saw a large spike in spam from nutter conspiracy theorists, right-wing loonies and get rich quick schemes. I guess the name of the company is a give away given the state of American politics these days. Nevertheless, I recommend the product.

When i received the product everything’s look fine. I wanted to use it, I opened it and the glass inside was broken. The return window is closed now.

I usually don't write reviews but this item is awesome! I followed the instructions (easy), filled with water, placed in the sun. It was not a hot day but sunny. I checked the kettle after 1.5 hours and the water was over 220 degrees. I fully recommend this kettle. It is going into my "Zombie room" and will assist in rehydrating my my freeze dried supplies,,, if needed.

I only bought one of these so I could try it out as there were quite a few reviews that stated that it did not heat the water as expected. I placed mine in the sun around 9:00 am. I left it there for about 2.5 hours. Note that it was about 75 degrees when I put it out there. When I went to check on it, it had steam coming out of the vent at the top. I will warn you to be careful when picking the unit up at this point. I touched the palm of my hand to the vent and it was very hot. I did not check the temperature of the water, but when I poured it out in the sink it was steaming. I would recommend this product. If you have more than one person that you intend to use this for, I would get another one. This unit does not hold enough water for more than one or two servings for many freeze dried foods, but its plenty for two or three cups of coffee or tea. I plan to buy one more.
