Very realistic looking.
I don't have much experience with elf ears, I haven't used adhesion yet. So far, I have just slipped them on and they stay on really well without adhesion. Formed to fit the ear very well. Colors are good, and they seem realistic.

Fits well, looks good, great price
My son wanted a Lord of the Rings birthday party this year. Since my wife and I are the type to have some fun with our kids' parties, we usually play along. Sometimes that involves costumes. Is was one of those times. My wife decided to go with Galadriel as her costume, and she needed ears to complete the look. These were the ears we went with. Not disappointed, at all.The material is soft enough, and flexible enough, that my wife didn't complain about any discomfort through the almost four hours she had on the ears. The size was almost perfect for them to stay on without any help, but not quite. She used a small ear cuff to help hold the ear in place, and to cover the seam between her ear and the elf ear. And with that, it was no difficulty. The coloration was actually pretty close to my wife's own skin tone. Obviously, not exact, but she styled her hair to fall around her ears, and that helped to mitigate the difference. If you needed to, I imagine they would hold some acrylic paint, or maybe even fingernail polish, and you could find a good or match for your own skin tone. Since we didn't paint them, I couldn't begin to answer how well paint adheres to the material. Also, i learned something about myself when I ordered them. My wife looked spectacularly hot in her costume, and the ears were a large part of that look. So, apparently I'm into elves now. If you're the kind of person who's into that as well, these would be a good addition to your "fun times", if you know what I mean...In any rate, I would definitely recommend these for someone looking for a decent, low cost, and comfortable set of ears for your costume needs...whatever those may be.

Pretty good for the price
These ears stayed on all day during RenFaire in 85 degree heat and were really easy to "paint" (I just used Ben Nye cream makeup, set with powder foundation and some setting spray. Next time though I will use some liquid latex to cover up the seam between the fake ears and my real ears but for the price these are great. I will say, they are soft plastic and caused some discomfort for my sister after a few hours of wear but I didn't experience any so I guess that is a possibility depending on your ear shape. I added a picture. Like I said, you can see the seam but using some liquid latex will cover that up, I just didn't have any left but it still looked alright to me.

Decent for the price, didn't like the fit.
These were okay. I'm not mad at them. I attached mine with eyelash glue since they're small and I was only wearing them for a short period of time. These didn't quite fit my ears and there were gaps where the fake ears met my real ears and left pretty noticeable seams. I don't expect a lot of people to find these fit perfectly because everyone's ears are so different. If you have good enough special effects makeup skills to cover the seams you could potentially make these amazing. I kind of hid the seams with my hair and with some ear jewelry. If you have long hair, it should be perfectly fine. But I did get a lot of compliments so the seams must not have been that noticeable. I think next time I'll opt for a different product, but I recommend them to anyone who wants a cheap and quick costume piece, who has long hair/wig, or anyone who has the makeup skills to take these to the next level. These also come in one color, so again, unless you're good at makeup people with differing skin tones will have a very hard time trying to match this to their skin.

Great product
Perfect for anyone that wants ears that stay on for hours. Made of light plastic /other material but doesn't feel cheaply made. They are worth trying if you don't want to spend a lot and not have to wear makeup on product to match skin color. Need glue to keep on. Doesn't take a lot in application. Look for spirit gum glue kit.

Hideous and not like any latex ears I've ever seen before...
My daughter (who is 17) has been wearing latex elf ears for costumes for over 10 years, and we've been thru quite a few pair as latex darkens and degrades with age and use without special care. I don't know what these are made off, but they look and feel more like plastic. They are stiff, shiny, and horrible. If you only need them for a one time thing, for a couple of hours, they might be OK, but if you're looking for all day wear, comfort, a realistic look (for your fictional character) that doesn't require being mostly hidden behind strategically placed hair, or actual latex ear tips, these aren't the ear tips you want. I'm currently debating on whether sending them back is worth the hassle or not.

Thick and fake-looking
These would be OK for kid's costume or play, but I was looking for some that would really blend in with a little latex and makeup. These don't look any more natural than the clip-on type.

Quality for the price
Overall, this was a good product, and I would most likely buy them again. Here are a few pros and cons that I found.PROS- stayed on all day at a 10+ hour convention with the use of spirit gum- looked as natural as elf ears can- held body paint- came with two pairs (so if I can't get all the body paint off of the first set, I'll still have another one)CONS- my ears would hurt at some points during the convention (although I don't believe that this is the fault of the ears, I was wearing a beanie and a wig and one of them could've been pushing down on the ears)- they were difficult to put on at first, so make sure you practice and stretch them out a bitCONCLUSIONtl;dr this is a great set of prosthetic ears, just be aware that you'll have to paint them and practice putting them on first.**my instagram is @cowardlyshadow if you have any questions about the product**
