This cylinder is part of a DIY videography camera-motion project. I use a skateboard and stepper motor for horizontal camera motion. This cylinder and some tall rails will be used for vertical camera motion. Pulleys will increase the travel from 1', the cylinder's stroke, to over 6'. I have the cylinder operating on my workbench now using a several different air compressors and a hand operated 2-way valve. The operation is smooth and steady. I am very pleased with this product and won't hesitate to buy another. Baomain product.

Keep this in mind, this cylinder does not work with magnetic sensors.

I've bought around 20 of these at this point. They are cheap and that's good. I'm using them in an industrial manufacturing setting in machines that cycle between full extension and full retraction 30 times a minute or so. These cylinders have weak seals and they blow out quickly in this setting. More than a few of the cylinders that I've bought began leaking past the piston ring inside within a week. Two of them began leaking past the shaft seal in a couple of weeks. That being said. There is still a lot of value here. If you were to purchase this size from elsewhere the cost is usually closer to $85. I am happy with a $28 dollar price point. They are simple enough also to take apart and rebuild using pieces from each other. I have bought another size of this brand that is used in maintaining a static pressure for its application. In that scenario, they work well. I've had one shaft seal fail out of 12 in that situation. To the sellers, if it's possible to upgrade seal quality these would be perfect. As it stands, these are still a decent to great value depending on your needs.

Used it on a sweet corn cutter, regulated pressure at 40-45 psi. Worked great blue print of cylinder was spot on for dimensions. Great cylinder for a great price.
