CORE Rechargeable Battery (1250 mAh) for Hybrid Headlamps - Micro-USB Port

Ive had number of these batteries. I have 4 headlamps that use the core battery. My wife and I use them daily. I walk our dogs in evening, work on things in the garage, my wife uses them daily to make jewelry. The headlamps are super helpful. I'm shocked how long these batteries last. We've been using these headlamps for years. DAILY. They have been recharged 1000s of times. They still work like new. Its outstanding. Well done Petzl!

Better than batteries! You can always have a full charge

Great addition to a great light. This battery seems to last longer than three AAA batteries, rechargeable.

A great addition! Only issue is that I wish it was usb c like everything else.

Bought this to go with and Actic headlamp (not the "core" model that included the battery). The battery, separate from the light was a MUCH better deal for the whole package. The battery is a really great idea since the design of the light allows the use of either AAA batteries (including Metal Hydride rechargeables) or this battery pack. The genius of the battery pack is in the built in USB charging connector. This is what makes the whole system outstanding. Particularly for situations where you're going to need to run the light for 8-12 hours (like in a LONG trail race late in the season.) I don't know what is wrong with the seller I got it from since they (TecTrove) seems to be calling this a bluetooth headset and it's clearly not. So maybe stay away from them, but totally buy this battery if you have the compatible Petzl models.

There's good reason to use a rechargeable battery.. (AAA batteries last a few hours and sometimes they don't make good contact in a Petzl headlamp. I have several headlamps and always have spare AAA batteries rolling around with partly used ones in my car. Recharging a single battery while I drive is an attractive idea.) The AccuCore took about 10 hours to initially charge and takes 4-6 hours to recharge after 1 hour's use. Compared to 3 fresh AAAs, it's not quite as bright in either white or red but very small difference. This battery runs down in a couple hours, lasting about half or less the time that 3 AAA batteries last. It fits some other headlamps and appliances too! but not Black Diamond, haven't checked Princeton yet.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I already have a Petzl headlamp that uses this type of battery - my current battery is many years old and requiring more frequent charges. This new battery is its replacement.

I had purchased this battery when I purchased my Petzl Actik headlamp a little over 4 years ago. My headlamp is my go to flashlight so I have charged this battery hundreds & hundreds of times. This battery owes my nothing at this point. I use this battery for over 9 hours, on some days, and it still has more to give at the end of the day. I do charge it every night, even if it’s not dead, because I can not get 2 full days out of one charge. I use my headlamp on medium brightness and depending on how bright you have your lamp, will depend on how long your battery will last. I was real hesitant on buying both the headlamp & the battery because the cost up front seemed a little high but realistically it ended up saving me so much money by not having to purchase batteries. I ended up buying another set so I can have one at home too. Petzl makes a good product.

Another part for my emergency kit. It is handy to have two rechargeable batteries for the head light in the case of an emergency
