So easy to use and does a clean cut. My husband was breaking the lvp planks over his knee to break them after scoring them with a knife and his knees were so bruised. This tool was so worth his pain and does a great clean cut so far.

This Cutter is amazing! So simple and effective. In the past I would have measured it and brought it out to the garage to cut with a saw but this cutter cut all that unnecessary work out. Simply push the handle down and the plank is cut with no mess and a clean cut. I would highly recommend this if you are planning to put your own floor down. I was able to do it by myself in less than 8 hours.

I love the fact I can take this inside with me while I'm installing, eliminates the steps to walk to saw and having to stand and crouch back down. Works far better on vinyl than laminate but it does get the job done. Upon opening product it arrived with all parts but was taped back together and all the screws were scattered. Glad I found all of them. Furthermore when I opened package the blade was not locked in the safety position and sliced my finger quite nicely. It's healed and upon examination no scare, still would purchase again.

The item came already assembled, except one; connecting the handle to the unit. I didn't like the way the handle is connected to the unit. You just push it down in but I didn't notice anything to confirm the connection is firm. Also I didn't see a washer (as depicted) which is supposed to be placed between the unit surface and the handle. I used it for cutting 6 mm vinyl plank boards. I didn't think that the cut needs such a force I found. (Because of the softness of the plank as well as the sharpness of the blade, I thought the cutting will be easy, next to cutting butter, so to speak.) Overall, it is worth for the money, I'd say.
