Nice smoker!
I love most of the features, but it needs one revision: a better way to load the pellets/chips. I use chips, and the chute is pretty awkward to use. You can work with it, and it's great to not have to open the door to add chips, but it could use a better design there. It's a definite step up from our older smoker which was heavily used when weather permitted. I love the timer, and I love that it comes with a sturday water and drip pan. The rollers make it easy to move. And I especially love that the element is not exposed as it was in my previous smoker. All in all, I am very pleased with purchase, and I would recommend this item.

Husband loves it!
Gave Cajun Injector Smoker to my husband for Father's Day. We have used it at least 4 times since then. He says it is much easier than charcoal, since it maintains the temp. He gets about an hour's worth of smoke from a handfull of pellets, and it's easy to add more. Built-in meat thermometer is real handy, as well. We've done ribs, chicken, sausage, and don't forget the corn (it's awsome). Can't wait for the pulled pork next weekend!

Look for Local buy if you want. UPS will damage in shipping.
I would like to include the pictures of one of the rear wheels caved in. Will try to add to product user picks. Straitened it out some with pliers. Quality is so so. The laminate in front of the control panel looks like a roll a coaster. Not very good quality there. I hope it works after clearly being rolled and dropped by UPS. Will have to wait as it is snowing heavy now.

I really like the digital setting ,set time & temp then just wait. Very easy to use. We only had to use 1/4 cup wood chips to get good flavor in our bacon. We made bacon & salami that tasted very good. The only bad thing, there wasn't a book or directions to figure out cooking times.

The smoker itself works great! However
I bought this for my husband for his birthday for a little more than $200-. The smoker itself works great! However, we used it only 3 times and the door ended up coming off the hinges. We tried to fix it, but it no longer will seal shut and the door just keeps falling or blowing off -- which is an extreme hazard!. Tried to see if we could exchange it but we're past the time limit -- didn't even have it for 6 months before we could no longer use it!

Didn't last long
When I first got the smoker I absolutely loved it. The probe quit working in a month. Because I bought it on Amazon instead of a sporting goods store, there was nothing the company could do for me. No big. I bought a digital probe and was good to go. Now, less than a year after purchase, there's a short somewhere and I get voltage pretty much everywhere on the smoker. And, because I'm a smoker addict, I actually smoked a batch of bacon even though I was getting shocked. Because the back is riveted on, there is no way to get into to see what's going on without tearing it apart. Oh, and I'm not an electrician. So, sadly, I cannot recommend this smoker and will be ordering a different brand in hopes it lasts longer.

nonfunctional in a month
I really wanted to like this smoker, but I didn't get to use it very much. The unit started tripping the circuit breaker about every 10 minutes (used the same outlet the previous successful attempts). Might be I just got a bad unit, but I didn't want to try the same model again. On a positive note: since it died so soon, Amazon covered shipping the defective unit back.

Ecedes My expectations
It truly is a set and forget, set the temp and then set the time, put in the meat and fill the water pan, close it up, add the pellets for smoke. ( but you can't help but check it). I have done a pork butt for pulled pork (14 hours) Some pastrami , several slabs of ribs. All great. It is made in china but the only thing cheaply made is the latch, the rivet that holds the bottom part together keeps coming loose and I have to put it back in.
