Great blade
My second Kizer, 2/2 on great knives. It came very sharp out of the box, shaves easily. I love the 154CM steel. The size is perfect, though a tad wide. The scales are micarta with a slight fuzzy texture, very grippy. Blade pops open with a good flick of the thumb stud.Overall, zero complaints. Build quality is great, look is very nice with clean lines. Great value especially with the 30% off.

Smooth buttery action with a satisfying click on opening. Razor sharp.
Incredible knife for the price that easily competes with knives 2-3x the cost. Kizer knives are known for their quality, but the action on this knife is phenomenal. Opening the knife has a very satisfying click that not all of the models have. I love the micarta handle as well as I can pocket it with other metal items with less fear of scratching up surfaces, plus it feels great in hand. This is my favorite Kizer knife so far!

Kizer T1 is a fantastic knife!
The Kizer T1 is a very well built, solid feeling knife that is perfect for EDC. The action on these things is AMAZING! Perfect detent for thumb studs makes for a very snappy open. Great access to the liner lock. And the blade drops like butter. Throw in some incredible micarta and a really nice deep carry pocket clip...What else can I say? Just buy one!

great build quality and superb action
Kizer makes great knives for the money and this is no exception. Superb action with solid lock up. Love the micarta and it provides great traction wet or dry. 154cm steel is one of my favorites because it's tough, holds a pretty good edge and easily sharpened. I would recommend this knife to anyone wanting a quality every day carry knife that is dependable and will last a long time.

when they said it was a budget version, they meant it
Kizer is the only knife brand that keeps me from buying knives solely from US, Japan, and Italian factories. The models present well in the YouTube videos, and Kizer makes the right marketing moves by collaborating with knife designers. The T1 has a designer's name attached to it, and if you have a magnifying glass on your Victorinox, you might be able to see his name on this knife. My guess is that he wanted it that way on this particular model and his name might appear larger on the titanium frame-lock T1. This newest T1 with inferior steel and micarta is such a significant downgrade, the extra $100 for the titanium T1 might be worth it. The strong design of the titanium model seems dampened in this micarta version. It's not quite "you get what you see" here. It seems you get a bit less than what you see. The blade, on closer inspection, while it has the same silhouette of the titanium T1, has a different depth and topography and does not replicate the lines of the titanium T1. This version's blade looks cheapo and remarkably more plain than on the more expensive T1.Also, the detent at the closed position is so strong that my thumb looks downright ashy after a few minutes of moving the blade out of the scales. It helps to flick toward the 2:00 position, I noticed. The micarta, too, is of concern, but it may be my unfamiliarity with the material. Say what you will of aluminum, FRN, G10, and cellidor scales, but you know that it is the particular material from show-side to liner. With micarta, there seems to be more of a composite of different layered materials. On this T1, the micarta looks okay and lends to a good grip, but it feels superficial. There is a strip of material used to give the handle a particular shape and feel (a "rib" along the frame) that looks like some plastic thing under the surface material.Plenty sharp, though. I'll give them that. Opening bags with a two-handed grip seems so crude, now that I have a knife on me these days.

Good basic knife
This is just a good, basic, well executed pocket knife. Great fit and finish, decent steel, great action and solid lock up. It's a good one.

Surprising Good!
The Kizer Ti is a very nice edc knife. Carrys smaller, even though it's larger than my other edcs. The short deep carry clip also works very well. The price is right also.

Insulting money grab.
Cheap macarta, blade was serrated cheap steal and bent. An embarrassment and insult to the honest knife community.
