Q: Does the corn need to be cooked or will this work on a raw ear of corn?

I did 6 dozen ears of raw corn in less than 30 minutes using it and a corn cob screw with the cordless drill!

Q: Does it release the corn milk while using?

The intent is to strip the kernels whole, retaining the juices. However we had difficulty doing this successfully. We had a hard time adjusting this device to match the circumference of the cob. We bought this and another tool that had handles. We just gave up and used a steak knife instead. I would not recommend.

Q: What drill bit is used for the corn?

Drill bit? What? You put the corn on the middle there is a blade in that middle. Takes the corn off. Takes a few times to get the hang of it. Don't hold the hot corn.
