This game set is nicer than I expected it to be. Nice wooden pieces with a wooden game base. My grandson was so excited to receive a new board that he couldn’t wait to play with his Papa. Very nicely made-excellent purchase.

Nicer than it sounded! Pieces are in foam, clasps to keep the board closed. Extra queens are great. We love it.

Got this to teach my granddaughter checkers and later chess. Good enough all around for its purpose. Playing surface scratches easily just moving checkers pieces. If you’re looking for a really nice set, get a better one. If you want cheaper go for a basic set. This set is nice but not the quality of a really good set.
