I love Larimar and have several pieces. Most of them, including the in the one in the item description are a lovely shade of blue. The one that I received, however, is more white than blue. That being said, the quality and size of the heart are good but the chain is very thin. I really wanted to love this piece. I am still deciding if I will keep it or not.

Well made but smaller and more narrow than buyer review pictures. Reminds me more of a light blue opal with a small cloud in one end. Does not look like advertisement and is definitely not a statement as advertised. I'm afraid you might find something pale blue or even plastic much like it for much much less. It's a baby blue, and the thing that sets quality Larimar apart is it looks like ocean water with strong depth of colors ranging from blues, greens and white lines like water pockets. Then Ive seen cheaper Larimar that looks more like a green jade color with bits of white and some brown. The more expensive Larimar the brighter and looks like ocean water or waves moving and some times water with white foam in it. Nature really makes a masterpiece display in good Larimar. You just cant say this one is what quality Larimar looks like. There's nothing about this stone that looks like Larimar to me. It also has no translucency or water look. It looks totally opaque. The best Larimar is more expensive. Just don't think you got a deal on the stone, because A or AA etc. doesnt look like this at all. Workmanship perhaps.I'm being very specific because I have a lot of Larimar and I had no idea when I purchased some of it what quality Larimar looks like. It's best to research gems before you buy and not buy just because it's a pretty color. Sellers know exactly what constitutes good Larimar and no one is going to tell you. You have to look it up. All in all, the carving, the nice chain and how the stone is set give it some value. I think the stone itself is not a high quality and looks a bit cheap to me. Definitely nothing to send to a friend as an example of your favorite Dolphin or Caribbean stone.

I love this necklace! It’s just the right size, not to small or big. The stone is a beautiful color and has become on of my everyday go to. Beautiful to wear for everyday or dress up. I have several other pieces and it fits right in. I highly recommended you’ll be happy you bought it.

A beautiful specimen of authentic larimar, the photo does not do justice to the amazing blues of this stone. The craftsmanship is top notch as well. I would recommend this seller to anyone look for a high quality larimar.
