Tarot Nuages

I love this deck a lot more than I expected to. When I bought it I knew I liked the artwork, but I didn't expect that it would become one of my favorite decks to work with. I use this once a month to do a weekly three-card reading, rotated with three other decks. By the time it's this deck's turn again I find myself missing it.It has a much gentler voice than I was expecting when I bought it. It doesn't coddle you and I find it to be very accurate, but it doesn't slap you in the face as much as some other decks (looking at you, Deviant Moon...). I find the messages I get from it to be informative and enlightening but also quite supportive!The cardstock is great, thin and flexible and easy to shuffle. I love the backs as much as the fronts (a rare occurance). The art is really beautiful in a unique way. It's really kind of hard to find art that isn't cutesy or flowery these days (the mushrooms in the Coins are cute as hell though). I like the guidebook a lot. It's small, but it puts a unique spin the meanings. While some of the structure and meanings of some of the cards can be similar to the RWS at times, this deck goes its own way a fair amount. It is not an RWS clone. As someone who prefers marseilles or unique decks (ie, with their own system) but can read RWS out of necessity, I really love that about this deck.I love this so much that I'm going to buy the lenormand by this artist as well. Do I read lenormand? No! But I know if I ever do, I want to have THAT one!

I couldn’t connect with the deck. The colors are very neutral and/or muted and I prefer brighter color palette. Unfortunately, I missed the return window by a few days because I was trying to work with it so I’m stuck with the deck.I did appreciate the pips having slight illustrations to help read the minor arcana. I’m new to Marseille and this was ideal. The card stock is nice and shuffles well. The guidebook gives a description of what you see in the card and keywords for both upright and reverse readings.Overall, nice deck but it doesn’t work for me.

Beautiful deck and nice card stock...bit gimmicky. One for the shelf and not the reading cloth methinks. Maybe I just bought it to gather dust...
