It fits like a glove and works well! I’m very glad I bought this accessory for my Dyson hair dryer. The diffuser helps distribute the hot air, which I found is better for my fine hair as the Dyson hair dryer can push out hot air a bit too hot for my fine hair so the diffuser is wonderful to help tap down the heat and still use this wonderful hair dryer.

No reason to get an official Dyson attachment, this one is solid as can be. You will never be able to tell the difference other than your wallet's weight depending on which one you buy. But this one.
