1. PROBLEM I WANTED TO SOLVE My two foster cats, Fuzz and Baby Girl, have been a bit bored lately, and I was looking for something that could engage them while also supporting their dental health. With them being indoor cats, it’s important to find stimulating toys, and the Potaroma 3 Pack Natural Silvervine Sticks seemed like a perfect solution. Plus, I’d heard great things about Silvervine being even more enticing than catnip, so I was curious if this would catch their attention and help keep their teeth clean. 2. DID IT SOLVE THE PROBLEM? Yes, with mixed results! Fuzz immediately went for the Silvervine Sticks, batting them around and chewing them within seconds of the package being opened. He seems to love the texture and scent, which keeps him entertained for a solid amount of time. His usual bursts of energy were redirected into rolling around and playing with the sticks, which was a pleasant surprise. Baby Girl, on the other hand, wasn’t as interested at first but eventually started licking and nibbling on the stick after a few days, which gave her a little extra mental stimulation. As for the dental benefits, I can’t say I’ve noticed a significant difference just yet, but I imagine it helps by keeping their teeth busy and encouraging chewing. 3. OTHER DETAILS The pack comes with three sticks, each infused with Silvervine and Catmint, so there’s a good variety of scents that seem to appeal differently to each cat. The sticks are durable, though Fuzz managed to wear one down pretty quickly with how hard he chews. The natural blend of Silvervine and Catnip is great for my cats who tend to get bored of the same old toys. I also appreciate that the sticks are all-natural and safe for them to chew on—knowing there are no harmful chemicals in these toys adds peace of mind. The packaging states that the blend and appearance may vary, and this was true for my package, but it didn’t affect the experience for my cats. 4. WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN? Absolutely! While Baby Girl took longer to warm up to the sticks, Fuzz has had a blast with them since day one. It’s a simple, affordable way to keep them entertained, and I like that it doubles as something beneficial for their dental health. I’d also recommend this product for households with multiple cats, as each cat’s interest level may vary, and having three sticks allows them to share without fuss. 5. ADDITIONAL INSIGHTS If you have a picky cat like Baby Girl, you may need to introduce the sticks a few times or try rubbing a little catnip on them to spark interest. Fuzz, who is more easily entertained, took to them right away, so it may depend on your cat’s personality. I’d also suggest supervising during the first few uses to ensure your cat chews safely, as the sticks can get worn down over time. VERDICT For the price and quality, these Silvervine Sticks are worth trying, especially if your cats are fans of catnip or need some extra stimulation. I’ll definitely be keeping these around for my foster kitties and rotating them with other toys to keep things fresh.

I bought these silvervine sticks for my cats because regular catnip only holds their attention for a few minutes — and these were an immediate hit. How we use them: My cats have had these since 12/25, and they still go crazy for them every time I take one out. I usually give them a stick during playtime or when I want to redirect chewing, and they immediately start licking, chewing, and rolling around with it. What I love: Much stronger reaction than standard catnip for my cats Keeps their interest long-term (weeks later and still exciting) Encourages chewing, which seems helpful for teeth and gums Natural ingredients — no mess or powder everywhere Each stick lasts a surprisingly long time Minor cons: The sticks can get a bit wet/slimy after heavy licking (normal, but worth noting) Not all cats respond the same — one of mine is obsessed, the other slightly less so Comparison: Compared to regular loose catnip or catnip toys, these hold my cats’ attention much longer and don’t lose their appeal after the first few uses. They also don’t create a mess like loose catnip does. Bottom line: If your cat doesn’t react strongly to regular catnip or gets bored quickly, these silvervine sticks are absolutely worth trying. Mine still act like it’s brand new weeks later.

My cats absolutely love this product. I have a Bengal and a Siamese and they both have their own stick. They play with them, put them in their mouth and run around the house. I know every cat is different but my cats love these things. I am impressed with the materials they are made out of and I feel its' better than catnip, but I have to say, they still get the kitty zoomies when they play with these. It keeps the cats entertained for quite some time, the quality is not bad, and it's a nice addition to the other toys they current have.

My cats love these catnip chew toys. They like the smell of it ( I of course can’t smell it). I like the design as its easy for them to pick up in their mouth, grab it with their paws, it kick with their feet. Several of them like to roll around on it . Color is nice and the over quality is good. They last for a few weeks to a month (i have 5 cats). The string unravels and catnip runs out. Might be able to add more catnip to it. They do like to chew on the stick after it unravels. Only thing I don't like is the little chew ball on it gets chewed on leaves pieces on the floor- but its minor and doesn't harm the kitties. My cats are older and this is a good toy for them to chew on and help with dental care.
