cheap construction, squeaky, but small and works.
It is basically a strap around a pulley wheel inside the housing. The knob pulls the strap more against the wheel. It comes with a strap that you SHOULD use to anchor the mini exercise bike to your chair.Cons: the higher tension, harder difficulty, makes it squeak more. without the anchor-tether strap, the exercise bike goes all over the place. The non-slip mat and the non-slip feet on the exercise mike do nothing to prevent it from moving. Because it only uses a strap as tension, I highly doubt the calorie counter changes between low and high level burn, so I do not trust the calorie counter.Pro: the strap is easy to anchor to an office chair, find a good loop length and way to loop it on the exercise bike, and then when not using the bike, can take it off the exercise bike and loop it over your chair armrest so you can leave it attached and quick to use again. Or, because the bike is small, just leave it on the floor next to your chair on the side so when you want to use it, just pivot chair and there it is.I got this so I can put a full size exercise bike in storage to make room in my apartment, and so far, this thing works. It is cheap, so don't expect it to be as nice as a full size bike, but with a comfortable enough chair, it work. And I recommend getting beach size towels for putting on your chair to absorb sweat so your chair isn't all sweaty all the time. Wrapped bungee cord can hold towel to top of chair.

Great price!!!!! Great product!!!!
It works great. It does slide so I used the strap they provide to anchor it to my couch. Yes everyone that is what the strap is for that is sent with the product.

It’s OK but a few issues
Some minor assembly is required. I found one of the pedals difficult to fully thread into the crank arms, as the treads were cut really rough. Otherwise the base has a little creak when using, buts it’s generally stable enough for what it is. It’s ok for what it is. But considering at this price point it is not pro level equipment. It is very light, and easy to move from floor to tabletop use.

Foot exerciser
Works great

Not stable
This doesn't weigh enough to stay in one place under the desk when using it, even when it was sitting on the non slip mat that they sent with it.

very good
I bought this for my arms, not my legs. But it works for both, just that I have other equipment for my legs. Tabletop arm exerciser is an excellent way to strengthen my arms while watching sports, news, etc.

better to buy full stationary bicycle
This keeps moving & trying to tip-over even while on the mat that came with it. Pedaling is pumpy (poor design), & who knows when the plastic feet-covers will break rendering this unusable.
