Love From Heaven: Practicing Compassion for Yourself and Others Hardcover – February 14, 2017

The title grabbed my attention enough to order this book. I felt the information in this book to be so valuable that I have written my first review in 70 years. A must for anyone seeking to understand that you are always supported, loved and never alone. It will leave your heart in gentle embrace.

This was a very enlightening book as all of Lorna's books are. This book however, will truly open your eye's to how much the Angels are involved in our daily lives, and most of us, don't have a clue!. I've read all of her books so far, except for, (the Year With Angels), which I'm about ready to start reading. I highly recommend this book.

An excellent book for reminding us of Jesus' direction to love ourselves. Actually, I would write it as "love our Selves"... because once we identify with our Selves, we don't expect quite so much of our little human selves. We can be kinder and gentler to the earthling when we know we are actually powerful spiritual beings: Selves.

I really enjoyed reading two of her other books, Angels in my hair and Stairways to Heaven, but this seems to repetitive. Its about how we can only love others when we learn to love ourselves first. I only read several chapters in "Love from Heaven" and I'm having a hard time getting into it. If you read the chapter titles it kind of just repeats the same content with a different heading. The first two books I read I had a hard time putting down. I highly recommend them.

Thank you, Lorna, for the text AND the exercise at the end of the book. The exercise took me to different places of heart and spirit each time I did it. The book and my journal are handy for review and sharing. It,s just about time to meditate with the exercise again. Blessings of grace abound in the practice of compassion one to another.

As a retired public servant, I've always felt I loved those that I came into contact daily, but struggled with my own personal issues, that I now see have kept me from loving myself and others to my full potential. Looking forward to my next read of Stairways to Heaven.

The veracity of Lorna’s writings comes through in her palpable humility and gentleness. I have been blessed reading numbers of her books and pray God allows her to write more before her mission on earth has completed.

I just love Lorna & all her books! Can't wait to read her new one...only wish that Amazon USA was going to get it! I don't know why it's only going to be available in the UK?!? Please, Amazon USA...can we get it here in America? Since I already practice compassion I really don't need this book. Hopefully, I can get her new one though!
