Just what I needed
This radio met my requirements:- inexpensive- bluetooth- no permanent internal battery- ac power option- portable with small footprintI do interior painting through the winter. Needed something inexpesive because it's possible that the unit will be knocked over, kicked, stepped on, etc. at some point....not on purpose and not by me but some people are clumsy. Didn't want to have a $100+ unit get wrecked.Seems to pick up local AM/FM stations fine. Will probably never listen to any other bands so can't speak to those. Bluetooth works fine. Sound is OK. Can't expect miracles with a single, smallish speaker and I'm not looking to rock the house. Only question is longevity and that can't be answered until it works through a season for me. Hopefully it lasts.

Geeks and living relics will like this radio
I bought it for my elderly father to replace a similar radio and he really likes it. Said its easy to tune and has decent sound. This is not Bose sound, this is garage radio sound. For what it is it performs well.

Not what I was expecting
This item is not a good product. Though it seems fine in the hand, the sound quality is poor. You can't get a clean tune on AM. It sounds as if the talker is fuzzy or crackly while pronouncing words. VERY ANNOYING. And no, it's not the reception because another low-cost radio from another brand is very clean sounding side by side. My advice is to buy a radio from a well known brand.

PROBLEM WITH NOISE ON BT WITH SOME UNITS
Bought Two. One is great on BT with my phone. The other, as soon as it's paired, has buzzing in the background. Happens when paired with other equipment as well. The radio is DEFECTIVE. Make sure you check out the radio right away, so you are not stuck with a defective model! First one was GREAT. This one... not so much!

AVOID! FM ok, other bands worthless
Good fidelity on FM, FM tuner has good sensitivity, apparently has AFC (automatic Frequency Control) circuit. AM/SW/LW bands are useless junk. Only station this picks up well on these 3 bands is on AM band, a 50,000 watt clear-channel station 20 miles from my apartment. 2 or 3 other weak stations on AM (MW), 1 weak station on SW, nothing at all on LW, even after midnight. I was hoping to replace my crusty, 40-year old Panasonic RF2200 - but it's still Waaaaaaaaaay better on MW/LW bands.
