My husband has a hearing loss that often ends up with me not telling him things because it's just too hard. We have been trying out different inexpensive OTC hearing aids and this one has by far been the best for him. He is famous for immediately losing the tiny devices, so the first plus of this one is that it has the wonderful band around the neck that keeps them from falling to the ground. Same band also makes the device big enough for him to easily find it. The hearing devices on each side provide decent sound and the controls are easy enough to navigate. Battery life is good and the unit charges with provided USB C cord as well as with other good quality C cords. Does not charge with every cheap USB C cord we got with other devices, but most people would never encounter that problem because they follow directions and use the cord that came with it, right? Anyway, the fact that he is still able to use this device after several months is huge and I recommend this device for others looking for an affordable option and a chance at marital bliss.

First day could not wait for my husband (87) to try this hearing. We have tried them all over the years, NOTHING so far has worked for him. Today was finally a GREAT DAY HE COULD HEAR, we did not have to go in front of him, yell for him to hear, turn the TV up etc...........this is only the first day but it WORKS! We pray it continues, it is comfortable, easy to adjust, easy to charge and YOU CAN HEAR!!!! I am not doing a commercial, trust me we have tried them all, this is the best! M in Florida

I am 73 and have 50% loss of hearing in both ears. I bought this same item a year ago and it has been so helpful, I am buying a second set to have one at home and one at church. I have over the years tried a couple different brands of hearing aids but they just made things loud, not more understandable. So they were more irritating than facilitating! I bought the Neosonic NW20 a year ago so I could hear the TV without having to have it up so loud it was painful to others in the room. And immediately I was sold on the quality of this neckband hearing amplifier. The sound is far, far better, clearer, than either of the hearing aids I had tried before. And because the ear buds are attached to the neck band, I never have that panicky problem of trying to find a lost hearing aid. The neckband charges quickly and stays charged all day. Before getting the Neosonic NW20, I understood very little of what was being said in Sunday School and church. And now I can also understand my grandchildren even when they are all talking to me at once! I highly recommend. ..... Shortly after this glowing review, the left ear bud went silent. It was too late to return. I can still hear fine out of the right ear bud.

It's been only been a day since I bought these for my mother but she says its the best hearing aid/amplifier she has gotten so far and we have been through about five other brands. The beauty of the remote mic is that she can hear the tv clearly without the rest of us having to turn up the volume. She can also hear us very clearly speaking near the mic or when it is off in regular hearing mode. I have been impressed enough in a day to come and write this review. I am not sure how long the charge actually lasts but based on the product info it says the external remote lasts 10 hours while the neckband is 20 hours, i hope future editions will have the use times matching for the headband and the remote microphone.

My dad has been refusing to get a hearing aid for DECADES because of his cost of the hearing aid and cost of doctor's visit. I found this on Amazon and did not hesitate to order it. First thing my dad said after using this was "I didn't know my voice was so loud.". For the first time in a long while, mom didn't have to repeat herself many times to be understood. We were able to turn off the caption on the television and didn't have to let neighbors know what we were watching. Even without the microphone, dad was able to listen to television and have conversations with us. I so wish I had found this earlier. As some of the reviews mentioned, dad will have to get used to working with the small buttons. I think a remote (perhaps attached to the microphone) would greatly help since dad can't control the button while the device is on him due to his age and loss of dexterity. I hope the batteries last a long time. Will definitely replace if an updated version is available.

The first unit I purchased, did not work with the microphone. Then the volume up down button the cord fell off. The replacement was great for me. Not the best sound, but I was able to hear the tv on very low volume. My problem is that the mode button stopped working after 3 uses. Since I can't change to mic mode, I can no longer use the headset. Without the mic every sound around you is amplified. You can hear into another room. If you don't need it for television, maybe it's for you.

It works good, however, the controls are so tiny they are hard to see and difficult to use with arthritic hands/fingers.
