The first thing you think when you see this set of RAM is "Look how freaking awesome these look". And the second thing you think is "Look at how freaking expensive these are". If your building a budget gaming rig, or have any kind of budget, these aren't for you. This kit is for people who want a system that is pleasing to look at, that'll last forever, and that'll give you great stock and overclocked performance.What made me really like this kit is that it was 2133Mhz, but also had really tight timings of 9-11-10-30. Most 2133Mhz kits have 11-11-11-32 timings. And another thing I really liked about this kit is that it's rated for only 1.5v. 90% of the other 2133Mhz kits have to run at 1.65v in order to get to 2133Mhz. Even a lot of 1600Mhz kits run at 1.65v. And if you own an Intel chip, they recommend your RAM run at 1.5v. Being that this kit starts out at 1.5v, there is a lot of voltage headroom for further overclocking.The obvious thing that made me fall in love with this kit is the great looks. The kits have a sleek looking black cover with the Corsair logo on them. They have the custom Dominator cooling fins. But what really made me like this kit is the Stainless Steel looking light bar over the top. YES, these have White LED's on them. The also have the word "Dominator" machined into the top and it looks as if they are glowing in the white light. It makes my system really look custom.Let's talk speed. This kit is fast. I've owned 3 different DDR3 2133Mhz kits. And those other kits were on the expensive side too. This kit was tied for the fastest among the 3 kits. But where it's better than the other 2 kits is the overclocking potential. You can easily reach 2400Mhz, no problems at ALL.Of the 3 kits I have. One of them was not stable at the factory 2133Mhz settings with it's factory timings. I did NOT have this problem with the Corsair Dominator Platinums. Simply go into your BIOS, and type in what the sticks say on them. You'll have no problems. Or you can just set the XMP profile. Although the XMP profile doesn't run at the timings specified on the RAM stick itself, XMP runs your Corsair RAM with looser timings. But these sticks will run at the rated speed, timings, and voltage.This is the best RAM on the market right now, PERIOD.

Short and sweet. This stuff is awesome, I was replacing my corsair vengeance pro 1866 which crapped out on me after a month, so I was a little Leary of buying another of their memory products but I gave it a shot. This stuff works great, easy OC very stable no bsod's as of yet. It's a very bulky memory so if your working in tight quaters this probably isn't for you but if your watercooling you'll have no problem. Packaging is great as in it is protected well. I know people say memory speeds don't make that big of a difference but from my experience with this it does. While I'm not getting any major fps jumps they do run alot smoother.

I have this kit running in Quad-Channel at 2333 MHz 10-12-11-30 1T @ 1.65v with some other timings adjusted manually.Performance is very good, read 65 GB/s, write 67 GB/s, copy 64 GB/s, with very low latency scores in AIDA64 (top of the chain at 52.5 ns on latest version)..Don't go buying these expecting your system to run at 2133 MHz or higher, it all depends on if your CPU can handle it in some cases. I'm using a Ivy Bridge E 4930k @ 4.5 GHz on a Rampage IV Gene and it works flawlessly.Able to prime95 blend test all of the memory for more than 8 hours with no errors...Overall happy that i've maxed out my system board and have plenty of bandwidth and capacity to feed all 6 cores on the CPU.

Coupled these with my FM2+ ASUS A88X-Pro, it showed the XMP profile in the BIOS and after selecting they were running at full speed (@1.65v). I noticed there were some contradictions on the product page about the voltage - I suspect earlier batches did run at 1.5v but the kit I got was clearly labelled 1.65v and the XMP profile also set it to this. Fully stable and having the extra bandwidth for an APU means you get much higher 3dmark performance.

This was a great purchase. Have been installed in my computer for years without issue. I have had great luck with corsair products for decades and keep returning as a customer.

I have to preface this by admitting that I'm a fanboy for Corsair. They have never failed me. Their products may not be as fancy looking as G.Skill or others, but they always produce top quality products across their entire range. Works great in my ASUS Z87 Pro-Deluxe motherboad with a Core i5-4670k processor and ASUS GTX770 graphics card.The white LED's are a tasteful addition to any case, unless you don't like things that look cool.

Well this set comes with 1.65 v label on it. And xmp puts it at 1.65v too. I bought it because they were announced to work at 2133 with only 1.5v. Lies!
