Very handy if you are like me and don't use specialty knots on a regular basis.. these are very easy to use and understand

I like the idea of these, that these aren't laminated but printed on credit card plastic. THOUGH, out of curiosity, I looked through each set, and when you start doing that, you realize, there are a lot of repeats. Also, I don't know if I'd have included such basic knots as the square knot or half-hitch. Since I kind of took this set to be a set for an intermediate knot tier to have on hand for refreshing themselves with. THOUGH, with that said, over half of these knots were literally new to me. Making it feel like at the very least at $40 for the set, I got my money's worth.The short of it is... Overall a great set, and would recommend. Though, the carabiners included are cheap and won't hold up to anything of value, luckily there was a wire loop included, and I used that for all the card sets.

I ordered these because someone in a Meetup(dot)com group recommended them. The group focuses on every day preparedness so KNOWING how to tie knots is essential!Tying things down to a car/truck/trailer, farm animals, getting your vehicle unstuck, securing camping/backpacking/hiking things? This is a GREAT kit to add to your everday bag, car kits and/or backpacking bags.Each has a carabiner but with this pack 1 of the sets has a metal/wired lock that connects all the sets you need!I also can appreciate the additional sets for sailing, fishing, etc. Not apart of my everday but still very useful!It's a little tricky to read the cards particularly near the grommet but you can figure out what knot it is. I think if the manufacturer adjusts the settings to allow for a blank space at that top corner there'd be zero issues.All in all a great addition to everyone anywhere and from all walks of life!

We originally purchased one of these separately then decided to purchase the set. Great to have around in remote areas where cell service isn't available and the kids are learning knots.

When in panic, your memory won't work (unless it's muscle memory through consistent usage), or maybe I'm that stupid. These cards are very good reminder. Thick plastic so they're waterproof and very compact yet strong and I believe it's will last long. Love it!
