Delighted with this cable, especially for the money (bought on a deal for under £70).Initially was concerned about a few negative reviews, but decided to go ahead anyway as the price was good. Everything with the cable was in order and it has been used almost nightly as a permanent cable on our untethered charger. Not had any issues at all. (Now about 2 months in). Seems perfectly well made, and has withstood all the weather thrown at it.It's more flexible than the cable that came with my car so wraps round the charger when stowed, which is just what I wanted. Blue colour is handy for visibility if trailing on the ground. Really very happy.

Works exactly as described. As good as a 'granny' connector can get.

I bought this because my home charger was charging my vehicle (LEVC Taxi) but was taking a long time , plus my charger was limiting the current as a safety measure, this was to do with overheating.I suspected it could be my standard cable from the manufacturer was not of good quality.I bought this cable and now my vehicle is fully charged in 3 and a half hours at full power from my 7.4kw home charger, so fully charged at octopus energy low EV rate. So happy days. Yes I recommend this product as its well made, and maybe its better than the cable that came with your vehicle as standard

I bought this as I needed an electric car charging cable as the one which came with our cars is too short for the way we want to park them on the drive. It works very well, good looking although the cable thickness is not as thick as those which came with our electric and PHEV cars. This means charging is somewhat slower and indeed a longer lead will take longer to charge a car.

Can’t fault this lead - good quality and feels like will last a long time

I did some research and read quite a few reviews before opting for this cable and it has not disappointed. Great quality and works perfectly with my BMW 745e. A high quality charging cable at a good price.

The cable was fine to use initially, then after a couple of weeks of using it about five times, my car began to stop charging. I’d restart it and it would continue for a few minutes and fail again. I investigated, checked everything was plugged in firmly, but the car reported that there was no power. I checked the cable and noticed that one of the pins (top right in the photo) had receded into the plug by about a centimetre. Consequently it wasn’t level with the other pins and didn’t make contact. The cable has been returned and I shall have to buy another.
