This clay mask is perfect for those who want to exfoliate using a clay mask but is worried about drying the skin out. I have dehydrated combination skin (slight oil in T-zone areas, paired with dry areas around the nose and mouth). Skin was feeling a little tight, with an open wound from an acne scar when I used this. I had no issues using this clay mask as the texture is creamy and easily applied using hands. I recommend using more product than you need, ideally to have enough to cover your face since it's so easy to apply a thin layer. It didn't feel dry until the 15 minute mark. If you have similar skin with me, I'd recommend washing the mask off after 10-13 mins. It has an herbal scent which is quite strong, which may be a turn-off, but I was fine with that. It was very easy to wash off, just make sure you put your hair out of your face area since it's a little inconvenient to wash out clay that gets into hair. After using this mask, my skin didn't feel dried up or red, it looked normal and moisturized (which felt great). My acne wound didn't hurt either. I also noticed my skin was able to absorb more of the skincare (essences & ampoules) I used next, which means that the exfoliation worked! Overall, very pleased with this clay mask and will keep using it. Though, I can already anticipate that this won't last that long since you do need a lot of the product to use it. It might just be a summer item 🤔 we'll see. Note: only used this once, will update over time
