I like the long barrel as I have medium length hair and I don’t have to “stack” hair to fit it all on the barrel. I like the 1” diameter because my hair is hard to get to hold a curl on even a 1.25” barrel, the curl is too loose and falls out. This one is great. It heats up fast and has various heat settings, a swivel cord……It’s Babyliss……what’s not to love!

Does great in my thick hair and is easy to use and not heavy. Great product!

My old, cheap, curly iron broke after a decade or so. I recently bought another cheap one and found myself with the worst curly iron. So I decided to spend a bit more I hopes to get something that would hopefully be better than my decade old one. This curly iron was amazing! I love the long barrel and that you can easily slide your hair along the barrel. It heats up fairly quickly and does not have a weird or odd smell to it. One minor complaint is that I wish the clap was slightly longer. Since I do have longer hair, just having a cm more, would have made such a difference in better securing my hair within the clap. My second complaint is that the stand can sometimes get in the way as you’re using it. This can be annoying when it happens, but I’m not sure how they could make this better. But with these two issues, it is close to a perfect curly iron to me. If it’s helpful to note, my hair type is 2c. So I do have some natural curls, and it may be why I hold the curl better than someone with straight hair. (Sorry my picture came out blurry)
