Killer Key for disabling Kwikset and Schlage Brand Locks Great for Landlords and Security (Kwikset)

I'm in the military and these keys are a great solution when clearing a room and moving on to the next and not worrying about the enemy coming through a door behind you.I plan on have ten of these keys on me at any given time.

To try and get into my house the key broke instantly and now I can’t get it my deadbolt

If you want to keep a door locked forever on a property you own or stop someone from unlocking a room in a house you own then this is a solution.If you don’t own the place and want to ‘get back’ at someone, don’t. You’ll spend $15 to spend an additional $200 PER DOOR you do this to b/c the landlord will come after you. Don’t. Just don’t.

The most important thing you need to know about this item is that once you use this key an the door lock that door lock is forever never going to lock again. I did not pay attention to that when purchasing and now.

These are a great device for temporarily disabling a lock but it absolutely can be removed! I've had to remove a couple of these in the past. You need a thin paperclip, put a tiny hook on the tip of one of the arms, raise all the pins and slide it out along with the key tip.Look up a video on YouTube "how to remove a broken key" from Uncle Mike's Locksmith.The 1st 3 pins in the lock extend to hold this in place.There is a version of this that allows you to disable the lock and also remove the key once your situation has been "neutralized" and the lock will function as it did before.If you absolutely intend to make this a permanent thing and fully understand it will need to be replaced, consider putting some superglue in the grooves and then insert it. That will definitely render the lock inoperable permanently. Otherwise you can most definitely remove this.
