WAKES A HEAVY SLEEPER, SIMPLE CONTROLS and PERFECT SIZE
I am a heavy sleeper, yet this little alarm clock wakes me every day. And it is the perfect size and color (sage green) to match my bedroom decor. Most importantly, does not have sound of ticking to keep you awake. Controls very easy to set. I love it, good value for the price.

Great Little Clock
Works Great, but I did not like the look and the sound of the alarm, so I sent it back. While I had it it was durable though. If you like the look it is a must buy.

Old fashion alarm clock
Non digital for my dad! He had one for years that finially died. He searched for a simular one but had not luck. I found on Amazon and got the Navy blue he loves because he was in the Navy! Very loud for hard of hearing and older fingers to use.

Good, but audibly ticks
It audibly ticks, which may annoy some people. The noise surprised me, because an almost identical-looking version of this clock that I purchased from Amazon (and sold under the brand name "Peakeep") does not tick. The brand name of the clock is printed on the clock face. The clock that ticks is branded under the name, "Sharp." For both clocks, I like the loud alarm, the easy-to read dial, and the vintage design.

Just what I was looking for....
This little guy keeps great time and let's you know when it is time to wake up. The alarm is loud enough to wake me up while not letting the neighbors know I am waking up. I use it to wake up at the same time each weekday and since it always goes off at the same time, I know it is keeping the correct time.I've had it a couple months and it is still going strong without a battery change. The best thing is that it is battery powered so it will keep on working during a power outage.

Needed fixing to make it work
The alarm function didn't work upon trying it and I was trying to figure out why. Ultimately just had to open it up to see if I could figure out what the problem was. It ended up that the motor that moves the hammer wasn't aligned proper. After I set it into the correct position it works fine now, but I doubt nearly anyone else would be willing to open it up to figure it out for how much it costs. If you get a working one, it's absolutely fine, but if you get a stinker you'll need to maybe figure out why.I wish the ticking of the second hand was a little louder, but I realize that's not something most people like.

Very pretty, does the job, but was too 'wonky' for my liking.
This clock functions, but isn't the quality you'd expect from a company that has been making clocks for decades. I was using this as a desk clock so I could keep track of the time when running full-screen applications on my computer, for where the computer's clock wouldn't be visible. There were some mistakes with this clock that made me decide to return it, but it worked well for the three weeks I had it for (and did not break or anything).---= What I liked about it =---- Ticking noise; I'm a weirdo who actually likes when clocks tick, and this has one has a pretty sound as far as clocks go to my untrained ear.- In the 3 weeks I had the clock, it stayed perfectly in sync with the time I had set it (I manually had it synced with my computer's clock)- Beautiful design; I'm a huge fan of the font and the design of the hands. The reason I bought this was actually because of its pretty shape. The chrome design didn't harshly reflect the lights behind my monitor either, which would probably help to prevent the sun from harshly reflecting into one's eyes. (Not sure whether going blind or using a rat as an alarm clock instead would be worse; If you know, you know, but thankfully that's not a concern here).---= Things I disliked about it, and ultimately why I returned it. =---- The second hand is misaligned with the dashes (including where the minute turns over)- The alarm function goes off approximately 6-8 minutes after the time it is set to go off.- Setting the alarm with the knob will result in the time shifting slightly, and vice-versa.---= Additional notes =---- This clock has a button (not a touch like it describes on the box, which I'm kind of thankful for), that when held will light up the clock with a small bulb in the corner. The light turns off when the button is no longer being pushed.- The clock has a faint glow in the dark feature to its hands.- Neither of these were relevant to me, as I wasn't using this as a bedtime clock, but I'm sure this info could help someone.I'm very picky when it comes to clocks, so if little flaws like these are okay with you, go for it. It's a really pretty twin bell clock.
