SpencoPropel + Carbon Performance Shoe Insoles for Women and Men, Men's 8-9.5/Women's 9-10.5 Red

I don't understand these $100 insoles at all. To begin, I had to trim them, as I'm a size 9 and got size 9-10.5. There are no guides, and no mention anywhere about how to trim them. I cut the toe part little by little and kept checking the fit in my shoes. Once I was satisfied, I went for a 45 minute run.These were awful. The bottoms are a hard piece of plastic, with no give at all. It felt like I was running barefoot on concrete. By the time I was dome, by feet were aching, and they're still aching a few hours later. I threw them away.

These are designed for running & yes, they are good for running. The heel holds my heel stable & feels good, there is good arch support (not excessive), the ball of my feet likes extra cushion & this seems to have enough for my feet & the carbon plate does feel like you are getting a boost. I am not a speed runner but I still like this extra kick. I like these insoles but I’m not sure I love them.I needed to trim my inserts. There are no marks on the back to guide you so I used my old insoles.

These insoles make it possible for me to walk for four or five hours. I have arthritis in my feet and usually I’m in pain after about two hours. But these remain comfortable

Being a bit of a skeptic, I was quite sure that these would not be as good as the description stated. I was wrong. These insoles will change how your shoes feel. The older your shoes, the more difference they will make. There is a good amount of arch support in these. I say good amount because there is not too much, just the right amount. The heel area is cushioned properly and really does hug the heel. Overall, the cushioning is wonderful and I feel like I have more spring in my step.These things are expensive! And that is the only reason that I gave them 4 stars rather then 5. If you own any shoes that just aren’t right and you are thinking of getting rid of, try these insoles in them first.

Initially tried these with some casual everyday shoes. They did not work well as the shoes really didn't have a soft sole. They were hard and very uncomfortable.I then put them in some athletic shoes that have a nice cushion to them.. They worked great. They put a lot of spring into your step. I can see these being very useful when running, sprinting, and jumping.They are a bit expensive though

I got these for my husband who does a lot of running. He is happy with the support they provide and finds them comfortable. They fit well in his shoes and are not so thick they make the shoes fit differently. They are lightweight so don’t change the weight of his running shoes. He reports they provide a little bounce and lift as he runs.
