Mounting my phone to my camera isn't my primary purpose for this (though it will probably happen at some point) but the go-pro style connections for the phone holder make this extremely versatile. This single kit allows me to mount my phone on a tripod or hang form the windshield mount in my truck to use my phone for behind the scenes, time lapse and other video recordings. The phone clamp fits my phone well and holds it securely even when putting the phone at a 3/4 position (rather than centered in the pictures) to avoid clamping on the volume buttons.

Works perfectly. I needed something to mount my GoPro on my camera to get video during shoots and this works perfectly. The added mount for my phone Incase my GoPro dies or I forget it is a big plus. She I originally received it the package was missing the actual GoPro mount. I contacted customer service to see if I could get that piece. They not only sent me the missing peice but sent me a whole new kit. This was awesome on their part because I would have been happy with just the missing piece. Great customer service!

The media could not be loaded. Cool device. Easy to use, and holds the phone nice and secure, enabling me to get video while I shoot. There are only two small downsides...1. The spring loaded grip which holds the phone so tightly, only fits the phone without the case. Not a big deal except that once I took the case off, I dropped my phone and cracked my screen. Butterfly effect. Can't blame the product really. But something to be aware of.2. There is a little bump inside the bottom bracket which pushes that bottom edge of your phone out toward the back edge of the bracket, essentially tilting the phone downward ever so slightly. Because of this, I found that the video I got had the subject positioned at the top of the screen, rather than right in the center of the frame. However, this also depends on what you are shooting and how far away. I found it to be more of a problem when closer to the subject and shooting at the same level.Other than that, I still like it. I also like the fact that this one has a GoPro mount, too. But I haven't tried that yet.

Great mount for your phone. Should work with most phones but I use and iPhone. The quality is good and the price was right. I use this for time lapse videos and it holds my phone securely.

I put things together without instructions all the time. However, this mount is a bit complex and it would help to have had guide in order to correctly assemble the mount. Otherwise, it seems sturdy.

I purchased this to attach to my camera to hold my IPhone during air shows and rocket launches. This allows me to shoot stills with my camera and video with the phone at the same time. Nice little set up.

Worked great for my camera. The thickness and sheerness of the adapter kit was perfect. I really was glad we found it as it was a amazing value for my money. Works exactly as needed.

I'm fairly certain the size of a camera's hotshoe does not have much variance across all camera brands, yet, the most crucial part about how this mounts to your camera's hotshoe is significantly smaller than the slot. So, what you get is this stupid way of tightening down this piece of trash onto your hotshoe which could potentially lead to damage. I can't believe there's that much play but then again, what was I expecting for $7? This thing is going back to Amazon. I should have read more of the customer reviews rather than relying on the rating alone. Maybe QC is just poor and I got a really bad one. It moves around way too much and any slight bump or tap to the mount will likely cause it to twist slightly but enough to affect the angle.Trash. Keep looking.
